thesweetscience
73 may just be celebrating tonight. I didn't think Ottawa had the fire power to get as far as they did, being a more defensive team, but somehow they're getting it done. I'll celebrate when it's over. But I do love a good underdog story, and the Sens, Leafs and Oilers have been good stories this year.I agree. I would be completely fine with the Oilers, Sens, or even Preds winning it all.

And stop with the "wah, wah wah" about how much the Caps suck and will choke. First off, you shouldn't make a post like that and call the other guy a troll, know what I saying? Sweetscience knows hockey. You don't know him well enough to say he doesn't. Maybe you should read his posts again. It's clear he's a hockey fan first, and he's just expecting the worst for his Caps based on past playoff failures, while hoping for the best. It's a defensive shell, just like in the game. That's pretty normal for fans of long suffering teams -- as an Isles fan, I should know.

I remember before game 7 of the ALCS in 2004, Michael Felger, a local columnist, was on TV talking about how Red Sox fans shouldn't take any solace from their game 6 win (the first "bloody sock" game) because game 7 is when the "kick in the nuts" comes for Sox fans. I hope your team's game 7 goes the way that one did for the Sox TSS. My son is livid with me, but I'm hoping Getzlaf and the Ducks advance tonight.
