  1. I've been doing full contact for the past 9 years, and I know what you feel when parent's are pushing it down your throat to play there kid. If they had any common sense, and saw that you played to win (cannot confirm that), but to also try to play as many kids as you can, they should appreciate you trying to get everyone in, and not you focusing on their "Little Billy". Those kinds of parents I find to be inconsiderate D-Bags. You should probably use this in a letter to the one that annoys you the most, it'd be funny.
  2. It's my birthday, I really don't feel like going out.
  3. My response is... oh wait, I'm in the wrong thread, sorry!
  4. QUOTE (USB Connector @ Sep 12 2011, 07:06 PM) Dragonball Z. That was probably my childhood from when I was about 4 to about 10, greatest damn show ever to be put on the televisions! Well... and Ed Edd and Eddy, the Powerpuff Girls, Dexters Lab, all that good stuff.
  5. If you give yourself a Charlie Horse stretching, you know you are having a bad day.
  6. I got the best reason... I hit round 77 of Zombies on Shi No Numa, lol.
  7. Totally unprepared list time! 1. Steve Howe 2. David Gilmour 3. Eric Clapton 4. Stevie Ray Vaughan 5. Brian May 6. Alex Lifeson 7. David Evans (Edge) Honorable Mentions: -Hendrix -Jimmy Page -Robby Krieger -Billy Gibbons Yay for honorable mentions!
  8. This seems like a great idea! This would totally fill the Void Goobs left us after going off the air, and it sounds like a fun way to get to know our music tastes and whatnot!
  9. My favorite is that solo in Us and Them, I find it a great solo. Also, was it a guitar solo or a Sax solo? The questions is bugging me, so I thought I would ask it.
  10. I say that you gotta set up video camera's around the perimeter of there house, then surveillance them until you get a good enough answer. Or, you could do it the easy and not-as-fun way and follow the van-driver. That works to. I would do option one if I was you
  11. Sorry to bump this, but the 3rd season starts in about an hour here on the East coast, and I wanted to know if anyone intends on watching it.
  12. QUOTE (thing2jordan @ Aug 2 2011, 09:12 PM) QUOTE (GuitarKid 1880 @ Aug 2 2011, 10:05 PM) Axe shampoo, Axe bodywash, Axe Spray on Deodorant/Old Spice, and Dove soap. Yup, that covers it. I hope you weren't expecting to be carried away by willing females as the Axe commercial suggests. Wait... it doesn't work? Awwwwww

  14. Didn't realize that no one in this thread knows what I actually look like, so here ya go. Enjoy. http://i1047.photobucket.com/albums/b475/trentdog1/Dance.jpg
  15. The correct answer for that statement is either: A-Rush B-Something boss. I only started listening recently, and I gotta thank goobs for a good few months of Thursday night fun on the internet.
  16. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jul 31 2011, 10:17 AM) #1 - Yes - Tales From Topographic Oceans #17 - The Who - Quadrophenia #18 - Pink Floyd - The Wall These are the albums I would consider the greatest double LP's. Tales is easily the best Double LP out there.
  17. I've got some video games to play, some records to beat, and some game plays of me failing to commentary over. Besides, I don't want to go out. Not my style.
  18. I literally just read this thread start to finish... well... at least the rankin's... You, sir, have made me want to do my own list. Maybe when I have the time... oh wait... it's summer...

  21. This movie was really funny, totally recommend seeing it.
  22. Well, this pissed me off yesterday... and I didn't know there was a thread for this... Sunburn SUCKS! I have so much pain in my shoulders it's hard to get my guitar strap on (I play standing, it's a habit). It also going to make tomorrow and Thursdays training for Football HARDER than it should be! UGH!
  23. I have an entire list of names for this situation: Skittles Hot Rod Milkshake Sinatra (that's my cat's name, but it's boss) Mavrick
  24. Quadrophenia-The Who: From 4:05 through the remainder of the song Love Reign O'er Me-The Who: I'll just say the whole song The Remembering (High the Memory)-Yes: from 17:31 through, and the 2'nd "Relayer" verse. Once-Pearl Jam: When the elecric guitar kicks in at 39 seconds, through to the one minute mark, I also like the verse "Backseat lover on the side of the rode, I got a bomb under my temple and it's gonna explode, got a 16 gauge berried under my clothes, I pray" <--that's a lot. I know there is more in there somewhere...
