  1. QUOTE (Rolinda Bonz @ Nov 25 2009, 07:02 PM) one chick's opinion... men are more relaxed around women that are not potential girlfriends when a man's not concerned with trying to impress a woman, he's casual, confident, respectful, open, honest, etc. that's attractive. Excatly my point. I'm not out to impress or come on with some cheesy line. I just say I would like to get to know you better, perhaps over dinner. If that is coming on like some macho idiot, then I give up.
  2. QUOTE (tick @ Nov 25 2009, 06:37 AM) QUOTE (Sark @ Nov 25 2009, 10:31 AM) QUOTE (JimboGames @ Nov 24 2009, 01:32 PM) I hear they have dating websites. eHarmony? Tried it. Total rip-off. I'd be interested to hear why you feel this way ? Tried many times to get in contact with "matches". They ended up being dead-ends or ficticious. That is after waiting for e- harmony to find me "matchable". I know I could keep trying, but it's jaded me to their services.

  4. QUOTE (edie @ Nov 24 2009, 10:16 AM) The less available you are, the more they want you. Why is that excactly? To me, this makes absolutely no sense!
  5. I was just wondering why is it that when I had a girlfriend I was hit on several times during the course of our relationship ( about 8 different times during the course of 3 years.) It's been almost 2 years since we broke up, and now if I ask someone out it's like I asked them to donate a kidney. I never cheated on my girlfriend and I see so many guys that treat the women they are with like crap. I just want to know why nice guys are always last.

  7. QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Nov 11 2009, 07:00 AM) Looks like they may write this movie consistent with the Greek myth. They strayed away from the story in the original film. Excellent point. I wonder if it will just be about Perseus and Medusa, or just be another sword and sorcery movie.

    Zombieland!

I saw it the Monday before Halloween. It was pretty funny, but they could have had more zombie scenes in it. I have to agree that the person playing himself was a great addition!

    Alien!

I still get a chill during the scene with Ripley and Newt meeting the Alien Queen in her egg chamber. That hiss she lets out is so evil! Of course the fight at the end is a classic-"Get away from her you bitch!"
  10. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 30 2009, 10:37 PM) This has probably been posted in here before, but I just stumbled across it and had to post it again. Excellent and creative editing, and very funny. Star Trek Meets Monty Python

  15. QUOTE (Janie @ Sep 15 2009, 05:08 AM) QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Sep 14 2009, 09:14 PM) QUOTE (Boots @ Sep 15 2009, 10:36 AM) No worries. I'm a straight female and I can tell you from my own social circle that a lot of my straight male friends will only date blondes. People like Megan Fox and Shania Twain are considered unattractive or plain-looking to them. They look right through girls like that. Everyone has a type. I like blond men too. I never fell for that tall, dark, handsome sterotype. Then again, a lot of my male relatives are blond too. I'm a product of my upbringing. P.S. That thing she does with her tongue is really annoying. I think that turns off a lot of people. She needs to stop doing that. your straight male friends are lying to you. i can't imagine any dude sticking to anything so strict as ONLY blondes. a preference is one thing but ONLY blondes is extremely extreme for any guy. if you're only talking about them not having an attraction towards Fox & Twain then that's another thing too. Are you kidding me!? Loads of men do this. My brother-in-law is one of them. He has only ever dated what appears to be the same woman his entire life. ALL of his girlfriends (and now his wife) look the exact same. It's downright creepy. They are all the same height, the all had the same color of blond hair, same length of hair, same eye color, same chest size... I had guy friend years ago, same way. All of his girlfriends looked the exact same. Yeah, quite a few men will date women who look a certain way and that way ONLY. Drives me crazy. I suppose there are guys like that, but I'm not one of them! Why limit yourself like that? There are far too many women out there that get passed over for superficial reasons. Oh, and Megan Fox is attractive, but not the end-all be-all of womanhood for me.

  20. QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Jun 29 2009, 07:11 PM) QUOTE (Alsgalpal @ Jun 29 2009, 08:13 PM) Why do the women act so damn slutty? Because dumb dudes buy more pills and cream that way. QUOTE (not the Enzyte ones, those are funny) Dear god, those commercials make me want to break my TV. Dumb AND insecure guys for sure!
