  1. Saw him play with John McLaughlin a long time ago. I had never seen anything like that. Simply amazing show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey9UQOh-Ros
  2. Seeing them in 2 weeks. In the spirit of this thread, I'd love to see 'Son of Alerik', but chances are, no. 'Into the Fire' maybe.
  3. Definitely my fav album of theirs. Depth of Self Delusion is my current choice cut.
  4. Rapture of the Deep is my fav Morse DP album. Check it out!
  5. I didn't do the preorder or fanpack. I picked up a copy of the cd up on Tue in the shops. I order a lot of goodies from Amazon and normally they are very good at getting the stuff delivered downunder in good time.
  6. Telegraph Road is probably my fav DS song.
  7. Brisbane, Australia to nyc. This year it's Brisbane to Chicago.
  8. QUOTE (GoldRush @ Mar 24 2012, 01:59 PM)Rush...Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City (I wish so...) this fall... Cool! Post a review.
  9. Seen season 1. Loved it. I believe it gets better so i'll definitely check it out further. As a government worker, i appreciate this shows scary accuracy.
  10. Have a great one and a great birthday too.
  11. And yes change a member for the 18th time. Wow, i didn't see that coming. It must immediately suck if jon anderson isn't singing. I mean, why even bother giving it a chance?
  12. Nothing until April. G3 with vai, satch and lukather.
  13. QUOTE (bigkostas @ Jan 30 2011, 12:54 AM)Dont forget Scott Rockenfield and Mark Zonder. cheers........................ I agree that Mark Zonder deserves some kudo's. He's a very creative player. Alan White deserves a honourable mention too.
  14. Thanks for the goodwill. We may not be the most Rush-centric nation, but what we lack in numbers, we make up with beer drinking ability. Back me up Haddo!
  15. I'm thinking of getting the 'Songs from Tsongas' DVD. It seems to get very mixed reviews. (Like most Yes vids.) What's your thoughts or musings on this DVD? Is there, or will there be, a Bluray version?
  16. Prog pop? There's 2 words that aren't normally side by side. I'll have to check it out.
  17. A few that spring to mind: clerks amazon women on the moon office space caddyshack the big lebowsky so i married an axe murderer any python movie
  18. I was going to say I saw their first show this year, but now I think about it, it was actually the 2010 tour. It was fantastic. Can't wait to watch the new DVD. I would never miss a chance to hear any of these classic songs, especially with Morse carving it up. He is my fav guitarist though, so I may be a bit biased. http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu223/shiftydog/5.jpg http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu223/shiftydog/3.jpg http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu223/shiftydog/2.jpg

  20. QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Nov 18 2011, 03:41 PM)QUOTE (shail @ Nov 15 2011, 08:10 PM) Get the new Hiromi album. Great tunes and great drumming by Simon. This disc is infectious! I LOVE IT! I just got a hold of this today. Some weekend entertainment for me. (Which means I haven't played it yet.) Also got an album by Trilok Gurtu with Simon. Trilok, of course, is an amazing drummer / percussionist who came to prominence by playing with John McLaughlin. Giddy up.
