They did - GUP live was shot at Maple Leaf Gardens D'oh! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-utGk4jqcpgU/UCtIYdiNJnI/AAAAAAAAfJY/R09NSO-ohCM/s1600/HomerDoh.gif

  3. Great story, thanks for sharing! I was front row for a show on The Time Machine Tour so I know excatly what you mean. Right as the first half of the show was ending, Alex walked up right in front of me and tossed me his pick. Then, during the first song after the intermission, Neils's assistant tapped me on the shoulder and handed me his sticks. Yep, they were quite beat up to say the least. I had the opporunity to attend the meet and greet before the show. This was a truly amazing day...the "Magic Show" to say the least. http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/ReGorLaTroy/100_2706.jpg http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/ReGorLaTroy/DSC0013.jpg
  4. QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Oct 13 2012, 02:32 PM) I've gotten the address of the arena they're going to. Who do I address it to? Rush? Or to someone else who will give it to them? I plan on just sending my CD album sleeves and asking for signature on for me and another signature for a friend as a gift. I wanted the sleeves signed so I'd at least still own the album, or should I just send everything? I still got 6 days to send it out. I sent mine to... Rush / Liam Birt (Tour Manager) C/O Venue Street Address City/State/Zip Be sure to enclose a return envelope with appropriate postage for the item to be mailed back to you. Make sure you use stamps and not prepaid postal sticker from the post office or it may not find it's way back to you. I would recommend that you don't send anything you can't live without. The signing depends on whether the venue will, in fact, forward to the band and if the band has time enough in their schedule that day to sign the item. Also, when you send multiple items only one items tends to get signed. ...all the best and be sure to post the photo of what you receive back here.
  5. QUOTE (HalfwayToGone @ Oct 12 2012, 09:31 AM) Far be it for me to advocate breaking the law, but a little medical marijuana will help settle your foul tummy, and you might enjoy the visual effects a bit more. Just sayin'. Here's the post of the year!

  10. QUOTE (mmm_donuts @ Oct 11 2012, 07:05 AM) Rush is auctioning a signed (by all 3) gold top Les Paul for charity. A couple of issues here: 1. Coming up with the coin to win this 2. Do you play this or save this to keep the signatures intact http://kidney.akaraisin.com/gala/Event/Pho...eid=5422&mid=41 Sweet, sweet axe...it would be difficult not to play this A LOT. You play it... ...it would be a shame for such an amazing instrument to go unplayed. Of course, you could always donate it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for generations to admire and appreciate when Rush is finally inducted.

  13. Please show some respect for the deceased, regardless of how they died. There has to be something more productive you can do with your words than just throwing out your childish, hateful and random opinions. You may want to check with your doctor, I think your meds need to be adjusted. Maybe it should be horse tranqulizers for you, mate.

  21. QUOTE (Tony R @ Oct 8 2012, 05:09 PM) QUOTE (Cstoliker @ Oct 8 2012, 10:24 PM) I got it on iTunes (audiobook) for $12.00 it's Narrated by Neil Peart himself. I would highly recommend it. Very good so far. A lot of previous Rush referaces worked in too. As grey traces of zzzzzz Peart's Own Cure For Insonnia - his voice.
