  1. I got the Neil one! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/jcar/2012-11-22145807.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/jcar/2012-11-22145747.jpg
  2. Alex threw me one last night! Kinda didn't want to un-bundle it, but I guess now I have to! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/jcar/shirt.jpg
  3. Pretty lame to get front row and then have all of those photographers in front of you.
  4. I was there, too on Alex's side of the stage. Sound was not too good for me. Got a cool pic of his guitars! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/jcar/2012-11-17191924.jpg

    Foo Fighter nods?

I apologize if this has been posted...but I noticed that a drum fill in The Anarchist was very similar to the drum break in "Rope" by the FF. Then, when I listened to Rope, in the chorus Hawkins is playing the very same ride pattern that Neil plays in Spirit of Radio...and in many, many other songs. So did Taylor say "screw it, no one has the balls to do Neil's signature ride pattern so I am," and as a joke Neil steals a fill from that very song? I know they respect each other, and I may be reaching, but it is interesting, to say the least. Some of the guitar work seems similar in the album to FF, as well. Love the new album.
  6. I was second row in front of Alex. Tony Hawk was front row center. he was cool...even bought me a beer.
  7. Let him in. There's some smart people in there. He'll learn from it. It's way more casual than it was years ago....at least from what I've seen.
  8. QUOTE (barney_rebel @ Apr 24 2011, 04:38 PM) QUOTE (Riv @ Apr 24 2011, 04:34 PM) Reminds me of the scam where someone put a code on a banks software and took one cent out of every deposit. http://www.collegehumor.com/video/168646/office-space-re-cut
  9. So a car goes to the window every 2 minutes and this guy is probably taking a quarter from everyone that pays cash....(I use my card). So, eight hour shift at the window = 240 cars (if steady...which MCD's usually is). Let;s give a conservative estimate that half pay with a card....So that's 120 times $.25. That's $30 a day. Let's say he works a 5 day week....that's $150 a week and $7,800 tax free dollars a year. Reminds me of the scam where someone put a code on a banks software and took one cent out of every deposit.
  10. This is what happens when bored Marines have too much time on their hands. I think it's hilarious.
  11. Everything Dave Grohl touches turns to gold.
  12. Earlier than Hershey.... I heard it at Greensboro...which was the 2nd night...si I assume Florida had it, too.
  13. QUOTE (clem @ Apr 4 2011, 07:52 PM) You know what I would do if I were you - I would write a nice, kind letter to the band's management and ask them if, maybe, they can give you a pair of comp tickets for a future show. Now, I KNOW the odds are stacked against you, but, hey - they can't be any worse than the odds of your airline nightmare! Maybe if you: 1) keep the letter "nice" (no bitching and moaning about "you didn't get what you deserve" nonsense) 2) send the pair of unused tickets with your letter 3) prove to them somehow that you live in Texas and were planning on quite a long trip. 4) show them your cancelled plane reservations while reminding them of the "cancelled flight" fiasco this week. Stranger things can happen..... Good luck Clem that might actually work....
