Favorite Canadian Band (besides the obvious)
toymaker replied to Rushman2112's topic in Music Of The Spheres
Max Webster, easily. Since I live in Canada, I've seen quite a few Canadian bands, but I wasn't lucky enough to see Max Webster (Kim Mitchell a ton of times, but not Max. Bummer.) -
- Doctor, the problem hasn't gone away. - The suppositories I prescribed - have you been taking them regularly? - What do you think I've been doing? Shoving them up my ass?

Happy birthday! Spring is on the way!

I was a guilty, sophisticated child.

"I do my double-show quick!" said Mick the Prick, fresh out the nick. "I sell cheap holiday. The minute they leave, Then a visit I pay - and does it pay!"

The kids got ahold of a VHS box of some show called "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" - or something like that. I couldn't stand it. Is anyone familiar with it?

Jeff Beck: Which is your favourite Jeff Beck album?
toymaker replied to treeduck's topic in Music Of The Spheres
Totally beat me to that. Killer stuff. -
Only one of these has The Prophet's Song.

The album is pretty good! I've been frantically collecting some "intel" on him, because the interview was discussed only today, and confirmed for MONDAY. I have 45 minutes with him. Based on the interviews you've done in the past, you've always done your research going in!

That video gave me a bit of a stomach ache. Sorry, Steve.

Only one of those albums has Nobody's Fault.

I have both the Chicago and Anaheim shows and they both sound pretty good ..... with one major drawback (for me anyway)..... in both cases there are 'yellers' close to the taper who insist on 'whooping' and 'hollering' at the top of their voices all through the show .... it kinda puts me off a bit! Just like being there . . . hehehe .... I guess you're right! But even so, at gigs it p*sses me off when some idiot is hollering in my ear!!Worse still is when the people around you insist on having a full scale conversation throughout the show! Or when they "sing" really loud...

Blegh. Still not so great. There are a couple of decent tunes on Omega - Holy War is pretty good.

I had the same experience buying that album. I was really looking forward to it, and was let down. You've got me interested in having another listen, though. It is a good cover, although the bird is a little flat chested compared to the one on Atomic Roooooster.
