Disembodied Spirit replied to The Analog Cub's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I think this is a Hits Tour: So we are going to hear most if not ALL the hits: Songs I think they'll definitely play: Tom Sawyer Freewill Spirit of Radio Closer to the Heart (Ugh, I agree) 2112 (In some form) Limelight Good chance They will play New World Man (Please god no) Red Barchetta Subdivisions Working Man -
the idea of a "chronological setlist"
Disembodied Spirit replied to AstrosJake's topic in On The Lighted Stage
This is exactly what I was thinking. 1st set- A chronological history 2nd set- A deep tracks opening followed by rapid fire session of staples Encore- Tom, Spirit, Freewill....Rocking hits... -

Rush must be touring in Europe as well, right...?
Disembodied Spirit replied to YYZumbi's topic in On The Lighted Stage
Rush should do one of those London Hyde Park Summer shows. Maybe Mid-August?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_concerts_in_Hyde_Park -
Dude is one funny guy: Check out Dan Rather Reports. It airs on AXSTV. Dan interviewed Al. Great Interview. His new album is the 1st Comedy record to debut at #1. Who knew?? Here's a preview:

Do you look at the setlist before your show?
Disembodied Spirit replied to Lost In Xanadu's topic in On The Lighted Stage
CA Tour I looked and knew what to expect. I will look the day after Tulsa show. I hope I am shocked with joy at what I see. Looking at the setlist let's one plan for Beer/ Pee breaks before/ after intermission. Perfect Beer/Pee Break songs: New World Man Anything from VT,CA,TFE,RTB Plan accordingly. -
Why no Cleveland? Blame LeBron!!!
Disembodied Spirit replied to Snaked's topic in On The Lighted Stage
Like the Cavs are making the finals- HA! This argument holds little weight- In May Rush is playing Dalllas, Houston and New Orleans all capable of still playing Basketball at that time. And if Toronto makes the finals they will come very close to the 2 Rush dates in Mid-June. And people of Cleveland: Stop your whining! Hop in your car and drive to Columbus. Want to get upset? Ask Memphis- The REAL HOME OF ROCK AND ROLL! Rush has not played there since 1992. That's right 1992. 'Roll the Bones' Tour- I had to Move because Rush was never coming back. I guess Ray Danniels had some bad BBQ. Elvis would roll over in his grave if he was really dead. -
Why does the Toronto shows June 17th & 19th....
Disembodied Spirit replied to BlairC45's topic in On The Lighted Stage
This confirms filming. I am 97.6588% sure now -
18,200 Thank you, Freddy! I was close enough. :) Ray Danniels would disagree that 18,200 and 20,000 are close enough. Considering he is missing out on 1800 seats at $150 a pop. :syrinx:

Rush must be touring in Europe as well, right...?
Disembodied Spirit replied to YYZumbi's topic in On The Lighted Stage
In reality bands can't load all the lights/ Pyro in numerous outdoor amphitheater sites. I think that explains fewer amphitheater shows this time around. Much less hauling it overseas. Logistically a nightmare. Plus touring in Europe is rare in the fall/ winter...so I don't see it -
Ok, am I the only one that doesn't want Rush to end it?
Disembodied Spirit replied to fraroc's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I expect this to be the last Large scale tour. I can see a 10-15 city tour being put together Late fall/ Early 16. Lots of markets can/ do support Rush every tour. No Cleveland/ Pittsburgh, 1 date in Fla.....lots of ground to cover if they want. -
Geddy to appear on That Metal Show (again) Feb. 21st
Disembodied Spirit replied to The Analog Cub's topic in Rush
About time. Now if those clowns can ask him some legitimate questions this time. -
I wouldn't do that if I were you. If you can see them now and have the money to travel the distance, do it. Come on Glenn, no Memphis show since 1992. You know that. Ray Danniels has a bug up his azz about Memphis for some reason. I had to move outta Memphis just because they never played their anymore. J/K ..different reasons...Head to New Orleans with the rest of us. Because they are never playing Memphis.

Can they bring back Fastway from the 'Grace Under Pressure' Tour?? What a booking mess that was.

I'm confused, did he win the Big Money or not? -
Alex, Geddy and Neil walk into a bar. No that's it. Like that would EVER Happen!
-
Post Drum solo- Geddy + Alex sitting center stage- Acoustic Medley Versions of Tears, Different Strings, and Losing It. Problem Solved: Not hard on Ged's voice, Extra 10 minutes of rest for Neil to change the oil in the BMW

Since this may be the last tour most of us sold a kidney to pay for these tickets. Welcome to the club

R40 Live radio ad said "this is it"
Disembodied Spirit replied to Moose's topic in On The Lighted Stage
(Deep announcer Voice- With Tom Sawyer playing in the background) You grew up with them, you got laid to them, you did everything to them. Now for the last time for the final time. For the final finale. No we are serious THIS IS IT! . Well maybe. I mean they could come back. But NO- THIS IS IT! RUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! - 1 Night Only- Unless you live in Toronto, but we understand that eh? The unofficial farewell to the Kings. The Final 'Countdown', NO NOT EUROPE! Those posers are long gone....It's RUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH! Followed by a very fast read disclaimer: This is not a farewell tour, just a promotion gimmick, no drugs, no bags, no fun allowed prior to the concert. Illegal Ticketmaster fee, facility fee, bathroom water fee, electricity fee, mob payoff may apply. -
Ticketmaster and sale question
Disembodied Spirit replied to iglehart's topic in On The Lighted Stage
My data shows Bristow only has something like 10K in seats. But the lawn is massive. Only show DC area? I guess it could sell out 3 months in advance. I agree, seems fishy, but lot of 'This is the final tour' floating around the net has people losing their minds. So who knows. -
Someone should haver a video of this in minutes.
