Yeah...Elam isn't dead. I agree with KenJennings in that I think he is going to be found by the Indians but I'm not sure what will happen from there...possibly prisoner, possibly revered for bravery. I mean he killed 3 Indians in head to head combat and then killed a GIANT grizzly...WITH A KNIFE!!!! ...who knows. Maybe he'll get picked up by the Mormons and nursed back to health or remain in a coma and when he wakes he tells on Swede. What I didn't like is that Durant said Bohannon was taken and is being held by the Mormons. You've US Grant there, call in the cavalry. That Grant did nothing is just bad writing. Grant loved Bohannon. I like Mickey and that he's becoming what he is. He might be dealing in dirty deeds, but they are LEGAL dirty deeds in HOW...But he's a puppet of Durant...don't like that. Yeah Swede's a POS and he'll get his as soon as Ezra or Elam show up to reveal the truth, and of course the marriage isn't valid.

Well...Seasons over. It was good but I didn't like the finale. I hate when bad things happen to the good guys and we are left hanging.

Haven't seen anything about the new season. Hope it's better than the second which, although intriguing, turned into a total mess by the end.

T4E. There was some radio special where the band was in studio talking about the new record and every few minutes they would play a new song from T4E during breaks in the interview. I taped it with the intention that the new RUSH record would be amazing I'd want to listen to the recording over and over again like I did when I was a kid with previous interviews. I think that's the only time I listened to the whole album.

I always find myself quoting Blazing Saddles. Particularly the eating beans around the campfire scene...But I'm always talking out my ass.

I was wondering when this thread was gonna pop up. I agree with everything exceot that Chemistry isn't that strong. I know it's not a fan fave but I love it...NWM though, not so much. It's the one song I skip...always. Signals was the first record to be released after I had been introduced to the band (from MTV no less), and I remember waiting, and waiting and waiting for the "new" Rush record. NWM was the first single and I remember thinking.....Hmmmm...Not sure if I like it so I waited on picking up the album I had been waiting for, for soooo long but eventually did pick it up and by the end of the year had completely worn out two copies on cassette. I love Signals and it's absolutely one of my "stuck on an island" records.. Happy birthday to one of my all time faves.

Was there in '97...What an amazing place. You can only imagine how helpless the 7th must have felt out there. I've read many books on the topic and it was really an amazing victory for the Native Americans and a truly crushing blow for the US army. Thanks for posting.

I'm surprised Swede is still alive (as you might guess from my last post from the previous season). That dude is creep!!! It was pretty obvious he was gonna do what he did, so there was no surprise there. I think he plans on going to Salt Lake City to try to pass himself off as the Bishop there. The kid mentioned that his father was going to be the most powerful man there when they arrived and I think Swede is going to assume that roll. I hope they have some kind of flashback or explanation of how he is still alive....like he was adopted and nursed back to health by a pack of wolves or something. STILL waiting for a "why/how" Swede is still alive...season is almost over! I'd like to know too as I thought for sure he was dead...I'll bet he was found by the Mormon family he killed and they nursed him back to health...and then he goes and kills 'em!!!!

I can't agree with forced but out of place definitely. I'll never forget the first time I saw that one of them had sworn. It was like '85 and Geddy was doing an interview and he said, "f**k it".
