  1. Uhhhhhh.....what? My mom had one of these.....and dad was always nervous when she whipped it out....Hmmmmmm.
  2. Haven't seen it yet but my wife DVR's the show so I'll see it. Nice to hear RUSH mentioned once again.
  3. I'd love to be able to travel to work like that.
  4. Please elaborate on why you think Dreamline sucks, since you must have seen them to think that. I have not seen them live, however links were provided by the OP which in turn provide links to vids of their live performances. Here's one to help you out. Click on it and watch and you too will be convinced they suck. http://www.dreamlineband.net/thecameraeye/
  5. How could anyone not like Monkees...Just look at how cute they are. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u351/Discipleoflerxst/989d176f_zps2efab107.jpg
  6. I agree. I saw them about 20 years ago and went specifically just to say I saw them. Couldn't stand the music but the show was great!!!! Pure entertainment.
  7. I don't think it's that bad...got a couple clunkers...But it ain't T4E.
  8. Cool...Might actually pick this one up.
  9. I think both are Rush's weakest albums...I don't like, or listen to either...But then again at this point I don't really listen to anything they've done after P/G except for Clockwork Angels which I still really enjoy. One thing I'm sure of is T4E is the worst with CP being right behind it. CP was the record that came out at the end of a decade long love affair I'd had with RUSH music that started in '81 followed by 13 years of little other than RUSH and by '94 I'd had it. Don't get me wrong. I still liked 'em and went to see 'em live but I had FINALLY opened my mind to music other than RUSH so CP and (especially) T4E are they records I've listened to least. But at the same time I think RUSH had run their creative course as well. CP was the record RUSH were "Going back to the older sound" (which I'm glad they did). They'd dropped a lot of the keyboards and thickened up the sound and were trying to become more guitar driven like the good olde days...So in a sense it was a step backwards. I think as a band they had run out of ideas as well. I didn't connect with Neil's lyrics and a lot of it seemed silly and just going through the motions and musically they all still "had it", I just don't like what they created. CP might be bad, bud T4E is horrible. Everything bad on CP was just compounded onto T4E. It's truly unfortunate that the events in Neil's life forced the band into a break (a well deserved break) but it was a break I think they needed to regroup, reassemble and collect new ideas. Granted the stuff they've done post T4E won't fall into the classics category, and a good part of S&A ain't much better than CP and T4E, but it's all much better than both of those turds.
  10. It has finally got past the heliopause so it is out of the solar system proper, but it still has to get past the Oort cloud which the sun has a loose influence over. To get to the inner edge of could take 300 years and to fly beyond it could take 30,000 years. So in that case it's gonna be a while, but I wouldn't count that as truly part of the solar system so yeah in my opinion it's out. Here's a map. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9f/Solarmap.png Nice map Ducky...What's the scale on that baby? Hey...I just noticed somethings missing...Where's Uranus....Hahahahaha....Get it? Uranus...Yer anus. :laughing guy: :dweez:
  11. Argo. Not sure if it was the Best Movie of the Year to win at the Oscars but it was good.
  12. It's a well known fact pressing 101 makes the ride break down....and you have confirmed it....Nice work.
