  1. Oh for the love of God they just won't stop will they?
  2. As Rick N. Backer said, totally shit name. Fun and enjoyable band for sure tho. Never got to see them and am guessing I may not now. With Dave's hearing being so bad he has to read lips, retirement may be forthcoming. Maybe he'll stay involved in the business in another capacity.
  3. I never watch cuz I almost never gaf, but I'd like to add that I was disappointed that Jennifer Hudson didn't even get a nomination for playing Aretha and most importantly, actually singing those songs herself.
  4. Indeed. She's one of the best actresses of today. Masterful. The Eyes Of Tammy Faye was such a great movie. A well deserved win. I'll be honest. I will most probably never watch it due to my intense hatred for televangelists and all other religious charlatans. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the film enough. THE perfect song for those blasphemous bastards............"the circus comes to town and you play the lead clown" indeed
  5. Not a knock on Phil but...................then there's Jagger who bounces around like a 30 year old while approaching 80. Staying fit and reasonably clean does wonders for you when you're old.
  6. I must be weird because I actually like Half The World. Is it their best song even on that album? Not even close, but I don't skip it so..........
  7. It would have been a great all instrumental tune. Agree 100%. Suck lyrics, excellent music.
  8. Ahhh, Tai Shan and Dog Years in particular are fracking awesome! I've always loved the tongue in cheek aspect of Dog Years............plus I love dogs so there's that too
  9. Nice. My first thought was "so has this guy not listened to La Villa?". But it's all a matter of personal taste isn't it? It’s not a “which song is best” but his favorite. Big difference. OK I'll take your word for it but the title of the clip is "Xanadu: why this is Rush's greatest song" not why I THINK this is Rush's greatest song. Just sayin'.
  10. Everybody Is A Star - Sly & The Family Stone
  11. There Is Nothing Left To Lose - Foo Fighters RIP TH
  12. 1966- Stuck Inside of Mobile With Those Memphis Blues Again by Dylan
  13. Open Invitation by Santana one of the best of his lesser known songs
  14. Rikki Don't Lose That Number by Steely Dan..........heard it yesterday and it's not departed my brain yet. Definitely not a bad thing.
  15. I thought the same thing. I looked it up and it's Richard Watts who's sung on several of his albums over the last 20 or so years.. I don't remember thinking that in the past so maybe his voice has changed a bit?
