Unlisted reason: Neil has a baby, and that baby will have expensive tastes. Another tour to pay for the baby's needs.

Anything special about the playing of Tom Sawyer, or is it just because it was on BBC1 ?

my thoughts / photos from last night's show
Derxst replied to cygnify's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I was at the show last night in Section 102, Row 1. I have to completely agree about sound. Geddy and the bass were clipping. Wasn't the best show sound wise, but I did enjoy it. Saw Ray Daniels walking back and forth; so I said "hi," and asked about the sound guy. He agreed about the sound quality Alex's new Gibson is gorgeous and the solos were excellent. Geddy's vocals were excellent. Neil was great, but appeared tired. There was a top-down shot on the bigscreen during the solo, and Neil has put on some weight! The solo, to me, did not seem to drag like the first leg of the TM tour. More of a "train" feel than a slow tribal thing. The "big band" portion wasn't as long, and seemed less "big band." 4 stars. 1/2 star removed because of the sound. -
QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Mar 22 2011, 12:37 AM) I would rather watch Golem and Yoda have sex then watch this crap. Really? Another CGI piece of shit film? Rush fans who love this garbage give Rush fans a bad name. Well, the Golem and Yoda sex scene would have to be CGI, too. Fyi

WILLING TO PAY 3K FOR A MEET AND GREET OPPORTUNITY
Derxst replied to tapermike's topic in On The Lighted Stage
When they are not touring, you would have a better chance of meeting Geddy during a spring training Toronto Blue Jays game in Florida. I met Geddy at a Detroit Tigers/Blue Jays game in Lakeland some years ago. I think that was more awesome because it wasn't a staged event. But if one has the disposable income and that's what they want to do, then go for it. If I had an extra M&G ticket, I would take someone up on $3000! -
I am very happy that all of Moving Pictures is kept. I wouldn't mind some of the other songs being changed up, but all of MP is the draw for this tour.
