Maybe grab a Coors Light and go play in the Rush section. You're not doing very well in here.4 points

There's a reason why this thread is posted in the "New World Women" area. :eyeroll: Besides, no one asked you. Go be an insecure dick elsewhere. No kidding. You make the rest of the forum depressing, you don't need to do it here too. Ouch. Bet that leaves a mark.... :outtahere:4 points

There's a reason why this thread is posted in the "New World Women" area. :eyeroll: Besides, no one asked you. Go be an insecure dick elsewhere. Btw, Geddy would be the first person to agree with me! Regardless, I don't see women from this forum complaining about the scantily clad women in the men's signatures. It's oddly incriminating that, if a woman says that she finds Geddy attractive, there are many men who are more than ready to stand up and protest, stating that they think he's ugly, "wicked witch of the west," etc. It only shows how incredibly insecure you boys are (and I use the term "boys" because a real man would not feel that threatened, especially if he is as ugly as you say). The great thing about when a woman finds a man attractive is that we usually don't completely objectify and de-humanize the man. My admiration of Geddy goes far beyond the physical (even though I find him physically attractive). I admire not only his physical form, but his gentle nature, his incredible musicianship and his awesome sense of humor. Apparently you find that threatening or else you wouldn't have opened your mouth on the subject. Again, please direct your negativity somewhere else. It is not welcome here, and I am sure that just about every woman that I know on this forum would agree. It's not our problem if you have some sort of envy issue with Geddy to the point where you feel that you have to tear him down in order to feel manly.3 points

Oh bullshit. Do you think we've never seen the other posts where you degrade Geddy's physical looks? You are not playing with a full deck. He's Captain Buzzkill Gemini... seriously listen to me.... Trust me I know what I am talking about when I say don't f**k with a chick who digs Geddy Lee. I have been here, been f*cked with and I totally know and understand how possessive they are and how quick they are to stand up for him. Once a Ged fan its for keeps! Even in jest you may as well be trying to stab Geddy with a knife, these chicks will have their vengeance....... stop while you are ahead and get out while you can :madra: Gemini just stepped into a kennel full of pit bulls wearing nothing but pork chop underwear.2 points

I was walking outside in the mild weather, wondering about stuff and I thought about making this topic. I'm a fervent believer that whatever you radiate, you get back eventually. And I say eventually because life isn't always fair or just, other than we all share the same fate in the end. So the question is: What would you like to become better at? Share your thoughts and maybe we could support each other and perhaps things will get done :) I'll start. When socializing with people, being many or one-on-one, I would like to become better at being mentally present and not "zoning out". I want to "be there" in the moment and not everywhere else.2 points

Both are f*ckin depressing but amazing movies I watched years ago with 2 of my uncles who both served in Vietnam and they were impressed but I think I pushed to much cause when I was a kid I did reports on them and they never wanted to talk about their tours their. My uncle Macos opened up and just told me horrifying things I mean real f*cked up shit.He told me he saw tons of dead bodies even kids with AKs in their hands still at the battle of Long Tan which was a Australian battle with the US bringing up the rear he had a lot of respect for Aussies after that day they were hard mofos the 6th battalion RAF.But for both it was seeing kids take up arms and knowing that your killing them but it's war it you or them there's no happy ending And when Marcos got home (Juan few months later but then went back) he gets of the airplane steps on the Tarmac to see my family his wife and what happens?... He gets spit on called a "Murderer" and it killed him.its for reasons and more that I respect our military and vets I may not like war and not agree on certain decisions the military makes but I will back any vet more so Vietnam ones and not only US ones Australians,New Zealand,Philippines,Thailand,South Korea and of course South Vietnam which sadly lost and only god know what happened to so many of those Soliders my uncles made friends with.2 points

True. He is a thought provoking dude for sure.... Not to mention he's considered handsome in the country of Liberia That isn't saying much. Hell, I might be considered handsome there.... :)1 point

I have a friend who reminds me of that. He did better after he deleted his Facebook account, and of course went to therapy. He does have strong social anxiety. Part of it might be wanting to be liked, but another part could be consideration of others. I can be a fine line sometimes. Especially at this advanced point in my life. Why do I still give such a f**k about what others think? Maybe I will morph in to full old geezer mode and that will go away over time....1 point

I won't pick anything for Rush, because beyond the three well known ones, there is really nothing spectacular on it Best I Can I Think I'm Going Bald Lessons Madrigal (still pretty good) The Trees Entre Nous Witch Hunt Chemistry The Body Electric Emotion Detector (Still Really Good) Tai Shan Anagram Neurotica The Speed Of Love Carve Away The Stone Peacable Kingdom We Hold On Halo Effect1 point

Love listening to Supertramp. One of my favourite non-Rush concerts was Supertramp, Breakfast in America tour. A hot August evening in an outdoor stadium with mountains in the background behind the stage. From the haunting opening notes of School to the finale of Crime of the Century, a truly great show. Even years later I love to sit on the deck on a warm summer evening, drink in my hand, and Supertramp on the stereo.1 point

I became a fan when their greatest hits Autobiography came out - by then I think Roger had left already. They came to Rio in ´88, but by then I was only 14 years old and lived in a small city four hours away from Rio, so I didn´t see them. It´s such a shame that they can´t get along with Roger anymore, I´d still pay to see them (or Roger, for that matter) if they came around.1 point
