Hemispheres is amazing too. But as a side long epic falls just short of 2112. The urgency and passion of 2112 oozes out of the speakers. Maybe "oozes" isn't the best word choice to make your point . . . compare the power of an orga a sneeze compared to just, say, a leaky nose. Easy answer: That epic is musically solid, but I can never understand such a big fuss aboit it. First 4 minutes of epic are superb, after that song goes into repetition and get uninspired.
