As a resident of Florida I'm baffled by Burger King being especially associated with our state.

We should be known for HOOTERS.  started right down the road in Clearwater Florida.  I know it's not fast food but outback also started here in Tampa.

Interesting,

Great Alaska Pizza Company is pretty good. The only reason for Alaska's choice would be the prices. There are far better places but more expensive.

Gross, Space Aliens for North Dakota. JL Beers is so much better.

Also, I remember Steak and Shake from my time in Indiana. Only went there once.

Don't get to that area very often.  When we leave immediate Bay Area we like sanibel island, Orlando, st Augustine, and new Smyrna area the most

In Corpus everyone is literally obsessed with Whataburger. Basically, it's not a restaraunt unless it's Whataburger or Denny's to kids down here. I cut them some slack because it started here, but it honestly isn't that much greater than a lot of other fast food joints like Chik-Fil-A or Popeye's in my opinion.

That's gotta be cause it was founded here, not cause it's big here.  In fact, in Philly that's not even considered a real pretzel.
