Reheated Thanksgiving's spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage and cooked some penne pasta.  Put both in a casserole, topped with slabs of fresh mozzarella, and baked to a gooey container of yum.  Garlic bread, green beans and some wine.  Aaaah!
Yum!  Spaghetti for Thanksgiving...I love it!

I made my first meatloaf in probably 25 years.  It was delicious, and what really set it off was the top glaze which had tomato sauce, garlic, italian seasoning, Worcestershire, and maple syrup.

Crockpot chili.

2 cans dark red kidney beans, rinsed
2 cans great northern beans, rinsed
28oz crushed tomato puree
1 bottle of beer, I used a Sam Adams lager
A few cloves of garlic
1 chopped and carmelized onion
6 serrano peppers, diced
2 jalapeno peppers, diced
2 habanero peppers, diced
1 pound of 80/20 ground beef, browned and seasoned with some steak rub
2 pounds beef stew meat, browned and seasoned with some steak rub

Spicy and delicious, perfect for the harsh Midwestern winter

Spaghetti with a mix of Italian sausage and ground beef.  My wife makes it well and very meaty.  The pasta?  Al dente finished with olive oil.  The best!!

Yesterday I had some amazing brisket from Red's 395 in Carson.  Served with cole slaw, beans, corn bread.

Tonight it's homemade chicken soup.

There's one place here that does them "Halifax-style". Gonna have it delivered to the office just to stink things up and drip sauce on the new photocopier.
Trailer Park Boys taught me that donairs are a thing. What are they?

Slow-cooked pot roast with potatoes, onions, mushrooms.  Prior to cooking it sat two days with a rub (sea salt, ground pepper, paprika, cayenne), and fresh garlic.

Can't wait to dig in!

Protein veggie burger patties and asparagus from Trader Joe’s.

Truth be told, there’s a painting on the wall of :rush: at the TJ store I got them at.  Truth is stranger than fiction, huh?  It’s only a block south of where I went to high school.
