Apparently, that's the reason for Rourke's stage name.  His real name is Philip.

As far as movies go since it was one of the first movies I saw in theaters when I was 6.

I'm a quarter Irish on my mom's side, and also my school mascot through high school and in college was/is the fighting Irish...but that's not exactly authentic, lol.
