During an interview on Sean Hannity's radio program, Governor Ron DeSantis bemoans the low attendance figures for the Miami Marlins:

Governor, is there a remote possibility the reason for this is the mere fact is-

THE MIAMI MARLINS SUCK?

Would Gov. DeSantis be able to follow such logic? Do the Rays sell out? Was he picking on Miami's ownership or something? Related question: Did the Dolphins still sell out during their first-half deep tank dive last year?

Equally, if not more important, they f***ed over the taxpayers to get a new stadium built on their dime.

There were a load of empty seats, but enough suckers, err, customers bought seat to "sell out" to prevent a black out of the local broadcast. but there's probably that breed of fish in every pond.

Hoo boy, did they ever! Fortunately it was confined to Miami-Dade County-special sales tax assessment, bed tax on hotel/motel/notel rooms, similar foolishness.. Like P. T Barnum said, born every minute.

Is it possible to trade the Marlins franchise for the Tigers? We're just searching for any potential path to credibility.

BWAHAHA, no chance, we have enough idiots running sports like Jeter, Steve Ross, and Micky Arison. Even though types like The Terrible Illitches would fit right in.

Could be far worse for you..........you could be a Mariners fan. 43 seasons and counting and never a World Series appearance let alone a championship. Longest current stretch of not making the playoffs of any North American sports franchise (last time was 2001).

Ichiro's MLB debut season. That was also the year the M's set the AL record for most wins in a season, with 59 of those wins by 4+ runs! Yankees ended up being the dream crushers, though.

No pity party for you friend. Detroit Lions playoff wins since 1957...one. The only non-franchise NFL team to never make it to the super bowl.

The curse of the Fords ownership...and it continues.
