See see right there we should start rating albums with genitalia. it would pep things up a bit.

Current album rankings:

1. A Night At The Opera

2. Queen II

3. Sheer Heart Attack

4. Innuendo

5. Queen

6. A Day At The Races (played this morning and greatly enjoyed!)

Last: Hot Space (steaming pile of shite)

I am really liking Queen. Mercury went from being a singer I disliked to a voice I can't get enough of.

The Miracle was a surprise comeback album when it first dropped back in the day. I remember being in Munich at the World Of Music (a huge record store) and hearing it on headphones for the first time. It sounded fantastic. Those feelings have stuck with me, so I rate the Miracle pretty high.

"Rrrrrrroger Taylor!"

"Brian May! Brian May!

News of the World is great.

a touch more commercial than the five before. but great.

8/10. i now dislike the first 2 tracks.......damn overplay, lol

Mick

You have to admit it was a killer way to open an album back in the day though.

One of the greatest album openers ever. Like Mick, though, I don't need to hear it any more.

Struggle to care after A Night at the Opera....

I respect it for the technical achievement it is in terms of studio recording techniques, but I never care to listen to it.

I know a lot of people who don't like Queen but because they aren't on forums like me and constantly bombarded by people who talk about music they never get so vocal about it.

His vouce will never ever be a favourite but its now bearable.

Sorry but Myles Kennedy and Jeff Buckley remain to my ears better singers...

Otherwise I love what I'm hearing. Not a single perfect album though after SHA in my opinion.

Oh and Hot Space is shit.

I won't let that go tee hee
