I remember writing some birthday wishes in a birthday card section they had for Geddy. So that must've been either 2000 or 2001 since I didn't go there in '02. Later, Geddy wrote his appreciation for all the birthday wishes he received. That's actually a long time ago now...as he was still in his 40s then.

How come he never comes here and thanks us? :LOL: ;)

I've been there and it's no real loss.   There are other places to go if you really need to read homophobic slurs, and I'm sure somewhere they're just as crude, though that might require some searchin

Wow....CP. I hung around there for a few years. I met some really cool members from that board on the VT and R-30 tours. It was a very in your face Rush site. You needed some thick skin and a good sense of humor.

 

I was a legacy Rushtour member. That was a heck of a community for a while till it ran it's course.

 

TRF is a cool place as well. Different than both those communities in a lot of ways.

 

CP did have some vicious people too. You just needed to ignore it.

Earl, I've always got you. You are a funny, entertaining good guy.

That doesn't excuse you when you cross the line (nor me or anyone) and taking offence because others have taken offence at something you wrote is childish. To err is to be human. To arr is to be pirate.

I piss people off on this forum daily, sometimes hourly. You do it occasionally. It's not the end of the world and you do not need to spend a week justifying yourself. I am not the source of whatever malaise you are suffering from at the moment, that is clearly something in your personal life. I've done far worse things on here and still manage to have nearly 5000 "likes" against my posts. You've probably got 10 x that.

Tony my divorce is final on Dec 1. No more "Limbo" for me. This Forum has helped for the past three years and many of you guys and gals had no clue.

But finally there is light at the end of the tunnel.

January 1 2016, I'm free! But then again "you can't have freedom for free." California State Law has pretty much bent me over for the next 9 years.

 

"That's life." I will will to accept my fate.

I got booted off geddylee.net just for saying that MFH was poor. It was actually arsewipe of course but I was trying to be diplomatic.

Was it run by new agers? They generally won't let anyone say anything less than glowing about anything.

I remember going to see The Ramones in 1981-82 with my sister and a guy she knew - Ron Fisher .. He was the first guy I ever knew who had a ring thru the middle of his nose and he also happened to be a member of The Pagans .. At the time, I didn't realize what it was all about, but he was one cool, tough mother****** ... It was a never a dull moment with him whenever he and his friends came around ..
