However, Anthony Phillips "Gheese and the Ghost" is really great too and would be the second best probably. 2. RE: The Yes Album. My dad had it when I was a kid. I didn't pay attention to it until later. I became a big fan mainly because of their 80's hits and 90125 but when I dug into their back catalog there was no going back. It is a classic album for sure and if nobody mentioned it I would add it since it is on my list here(yes, I have a sheet of paper with albums I intend to add. However, some of you are beating me to the punch. Good for you. ;) ).I have two more Yes albums to add if you want to beat me to it. A classic album that doesnt' need much of an introduction to music fans. "Roundabout" and "heart of the sunrise" are among YES's best and most well known but the whole thing sounds great and is a very enjoyable musical experience. I see "greatest live album" tossed around here a lot, but for a band that was hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, each member earning $75 per week, with one album left on their contract, going into the studio was not an option ... Love it or hate it, Alive! changed the rock world forever, as every band and their Mom followed suit with the double live album .. . . A classic album that doesnt' need much of an introduction to music fans. "Roundabout" and "heart of the sunrise" are among YES's best and most well known but the whole thing sounds great and is a very enjoyable musical experience.
