EagleMoon
I know some of the people that I'm friends with on Facebook have been to a dozen or more shows. I can't imagine how much that must have cost.

They're so dedicated to their band that they save all their money and vacation time for when they tour. Me, i've been able to afford to see them twice each over the last three tours. Anything more than that would be pushing it financially.

I just can't imagine especially the way ticket prices have been. Then to add on a hotel, transportation to and from wherever you go while you're there, food....etc.

Then it really gets ridiculous.

Anything more than that would be pushing it financially.I've still only been to 13 total Rush shows. Never felt much need to see them more than once in a calendar year. There was something extra addictive about this tour though and I ended up going a little crazy. Maybe also in part because it looks like the last one.
Mr. JD
3 for me and my daughter. Atlanta, Toronto (night 2), and Montreal. Also did RushCon in Toronto and visited LeStudio in Morin Heights, Quebec. It's been a great few "Rush" months.

Empty Mindless Spectre
I saw 12. I took advantage of being from Delaware, and went to Philly, Bristow, Newark and MSG which are all less than 2 hours away. My "travel" shows were Tulsa, New Orleans, Tampa, both Toronto shows, Vancouver, Seattle, and LA. It cost me a small fortune, and priority-wise, much more than I should have spent. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. If I had more vacation time I would have gone to more shows. I met and shared the experience with some awesome and incredibly nice people. I truly had the time of my life.

Speaking of Phish...when I was at Penn Station in New York waiting for the train to the Newark show, I was joined by 2 guys and we hung out the entire train ride and at the bar before the show. The 40 year old has seen Phish 125 times and the older guy has seen Springsteen around 80 times I think he said. As for myself...I went to 4 on this tour. Night 1 in Toronto, Montreal, Newark and New York. Financially I was ok because I had a full 5 months of planning after I bought the tickets. I wanted to do Boston and Philly too, but that would have meant staying in Montreal the night of that show, taking the plane to Boston the next day, seeing that show the day after that. Then flying to Philly and seeing that show the night after. That would have been 9 days straight of hotels, seeing as though I left on the following Tuesday the night after the New York show.
