Narps
Wow, is this normal? Seriously? That's disturbing.I know that it is not "normal" but probably not as uncommon as even I think it is. Nuff said. I try to be as honest as possible around here but some stuff I suppose should be left either unsaid or go the PM route. Your choice of the word "disturbing" is pretty on point I will say that... :) Edited June 8, 2015 by Narps
Mara
Wow, is this normal? Seriously? That's disturbing. Not normal at all, especially when it's the male half who loses interest. Especially that early in the marriage. However, it's not uncommon for post-menopausal women to lose interest. There are fixes for that, though. Current sort-of SO is in his 60's (yeah, I know, but he is fit and healthy and I honestly would have guessed much younger) and is the most passionate person I've encountered in quite some time. Yeah, there are parts of the whole menopause thing that really suck hard. If a woman is able to get testosterone replacement then that should help with libido. (I don't know if estrogen replacement does anything in that department.) And the FDA just approved a drug to increase female libido in post-menopausal women, although it remains to be seen if it is actually effective. In addition there is :digi:

It was supposed to be some natural stuff that would give her something going on. It failed miserably and she gave up before the applicators were even empty and the prescription was completed... :|
