CaressMySteel
Why should having high standards and expectations (outside of Geds physical limitation) be considered as whining? Many of u are like dogs happy to get any scrap thrown ur way and Rush takes advantage of this fact. U guys in turn are partially responsible for the compromised, schit setlists settled on over the past 10 yrs.Utter nonsense.
GabesCavesOfIce
And a hawk...late nights, early mornings, defending CA and all things Rush. Glorious. Inspiring, brings that Rush song to life. Never my fave on CP, but its certainly up a step now! LDS Business College? Nice break from the set list banter.
dtpoet
Of course Tombstone Mountain is happy about the setlist, after all he's a deluded CA fanboy :P I don't believe the setlist is real though. Camera Eye again? Hemispheres AND Cygnus X-1? Nah... In general there are too many epics in there for it to be legit. Also GeminiRising79 is absolutely right. Having standards and not praising Rush for everything they do is not in any way whining. Try harder, fanboys... Oh it's real. Straight from the official tour book. HemispheresserehpsimeH
And yet, when Rush is done, you can all still complain. Not really a big deal for me. I'll just go and enjoy them while they're here. I don't see the point in complaining. Yeah, you can call people fanboys, but do you think the band is sitting around a computer, taking all of your suggestions to heart? Maybe I am a fanboy, but if you think they're going to change the setlist because of the same moaning and complaining after 10 years, then that's delusional on your part. And that's worse than being a dedicated fan any day of the week. I think some of you truly think Rush will magically come on here someday and say, "You know what? We should play The Necromancer and Anthem every night! Why did we not ever think of that?!" Absolutely ridiculous behaviour. It's actually laughable. I feel badly for some of you that you can't simply enjoy it while it lasts.

Its a two-way street and always has been...seems they forgot about this while marveling at their 8-figure account balances. Rush85dude
Considering the stakes, this one won't disappoint even the most circumspect of fans. Even if the video list is essentially the whole thing (nearly 2.5 hours give or take)...think of what it does: 1. The opening video sets stage for going back in time before pulling us into the world of CA--where they get to enjoy playing it sans string section and do what tours have always strived to do--sell some of the new(ish) product. Anderson's work too! 2. The hits are there for those who fell away post-MTV: DEW, Subdivisions, Tom Sawyer, Spirit. Closer... 3. More epics than ever get featured: JL, Nat. Sci., iTCE, Hem/Cygnus (together--in part--at last), 2112 (thinking overture, temples, presentation, soliloquy and finale). 4. And some of 90s/2000s humor (RTB), emotion (OLV) and evolution (Animate/FC) gets played. 5. Plus, I get to take my 13 yr. old daughter to see 'em!!! No complaints at all. But I'm okay with those too since I recall leaving my first show in 85 wondering why Limelight, The Trees and Freewill weren't played. And don't get me started on HYF tour...
shail
Meh don't care what they play. People drink and smoke and have a great time. It's a fun visual show. Very loud and it's prog rock. Who wouldn't want to add their two cents what songs they want to hear. Good times ahead

My biggest worry was that Jacob, Lakeside, Anthem or WYD would be rotated out since they are such rarities. I'm lookin for a road trip to add a third show that's how good the list is. best moment of the show last nite, Bobs legendary gf "slappin da bass" during the synths of betw the wheels!!

Tombstone Mountain
Bob's girlfriend, though thrilled to the point of performing interpretive dance during Ellwood's solo, gave the middle digit to the band during TCE...not cool!

jp_page_too
This is really a tour that is a gift to all the old Rush fans. They know this material has been unplayed for a long time. It's the fans from the early years that have been left out. The band seems to finally be willing to play these songs again and make those fans happy too. So what's not to like? Breaking out "What You're Doing" made it for me. That's one I really wanted to hear live someday, but had written it off as impossible.
