Adler will be appearing as a guest on the album and contributing his thundering, hard-hitting, and technically precise style and skill, adding new blood and drive into the mix while staying true to MEGADETH's roots. Blue J Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 I'm not a fan of Lamb of God, because I just can't get past the vocals. But the one thing that struck me above all else when I heard them was the drumming- absolutely incredible! I haven't heard a Megadeth album in ages, either. Should be interesting... Segue Myles Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Screamy vocal bands shoot themselves in the foot...no diversity, it all has to be angry, aggressive, or morose (not as diverse as one might think). J2112YYZ Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Lamb Of God is one of those bands that is great to listen to when you've had one of those bad days where everything went wrong and you're just flat out f***in pissed off. I don't care much for harsh vocals either but LOG wouldn't work with any other vocal style. Chris Adler is a great pick to play drums on the next Megadeth album. Let's just hope Mustaine can come out with another good one again because their last album was horrid and the one before that was so-so. With the exception of the album Risk, I always felt that Megadeth was very consistent when it came to putting out quality albums over the years. They've fallen off a little bit with their last two releases but maybe with some new guys playing, Mustaine can come up with some solid material again. I haven't lost faith in him yet.
