He was the reason I wanted a Fender Precision

My first bass was a '75 Fender Precision. One of those natural ash ones with the maple fingerboard. Weighed a ton.

Apparently a new album in the next few months.Should be worth a listen ,but without Steve Walsh, and Kerry Livgren ,not sure how good the quality will be! Classy band in the past however!

I think this band were at their best from the debut up until Two For The Show. After that, Monolith was pretty great (but a step down from Point), and whilst I can take or leave Audio Visions and Vinyl Confessions, I absolutely adore Drastic Measures. DM is one of the most underrated AOR albums, and it stand only a little behind the peak Kansas albums.

Otherwise, not really impressed by anything else.

if i had to rank the 70''s albums......cause it's the only era i like.

1. Leftoverture

2. Song for America

3. Debut

4. Monolith

5. Point of Know Return

6. Masque

Can't rank further cause Kansas sank........fast........and unforgivably.

The only album worth owning. Drastic Measures is a great album! But I don't think it is very Kansas- like. For what it is, though, I love it.
