He was the reason I wanted a Fender Precision My first bass was a '75 Fender Precision. One of those natural ash ones with the maple fingerboard. Weighed a ton. Hatchetaxe&saw
On a HUGE Kansas kick at the moment. So glad I persevered with them, it was touch & go a few years back. While holidaying in the US I picked up pretty much their entire back catalogue on vinyl, the dearest was $2.99. Go me.
Red Dwarf
Apparently a new album in the next few months.Should be worth a listen ,but without Steve Walsh, and Kerry Livgren ,not sure how good the quality will be! Classy band in the past however!
Segue Myles
I think this band were at their best from the debut up until Two For The Show. After that, Monolith was pretty great (but a step down from Point), and whilst I can take or leave Audio Visions and Vinyl Confessions, I absolutely adore Drastic Measures. DM is one of the most underrated AOR albums, and it stand only a little behind the peak Kansas albums. Otherwise, not really impressed by anything else. For what it is, though, I love it. Edited September 9, 2015 by Segue Myles
