Bluefunk
I agree that this song has to go down as a historical masterpiece. My favorite part of this songs rhythmically is the introductory and concluding bass lines. It's basically the only parts I know how to play for this song. The lyrics are definitely my favorite thing. The words are so clear and you can easily picture the portrayed story within your head. I think I should just write a short story about this song and post it on the internet even though writing is probably my least favorite thing to do.here's the original story that inspired the song... http://www.2112.net/...rning_drive.htmHere's a picture of Richard S Foster with Neil:http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y288/Bluefunk/Rush/Neil_RichardSFoster.jpg ETA: Here's a link to the story with scans of the artwork that went with it:http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/rush/a-nice-morning-drive.php Edited October 4, 2013 by Bluefunk
Mr. Not
^ that's awesome. I'm revisiting this thread because I'm listening to the song again right now, and it may seem cheesy and cliche to say this about song, but it really moves me. Might be my favorite next to Subdivisions today, though it's hard to narrow it down.
chasekratzer
Red Barchetta is one of their classic songs from one of their classic albums. The song would be in the top 15 on my list of favs.

ThatLightInYourEyes
The song certainly has the best descriptive lyrics of all of them. Neil really likes vehicles, it seems.
