1-0-0-1-0-0-1
I voted for "bottled" because that's what I drink at home or at other people's homes. I prefer draught, but I don't find myself at bars too often. I was at a pub a few weeks ago and had a draught Bridgeport IPA, and it reminded my how much better tap beer is. Dread Pirate Robert
QUOTE (YXE-dude @ Jul 10 2005, 02:44 AM) I don't know about you cats... but I quit drinking ever since I moved back to the States. I lived in Saskatchewan previously..... and I have to admit... the beer up in Canada was the freaking bomb!!!!!!!!! What normally takes 6 cans to get me buzzed.... only takes 2 cans to get me washed!!! So as a personal vow, I'm not drinking any beer that is produced in the US, sadly, but only if its made in Canada. OR I might just head up to Tdot for a visit to my sis and on my own personal time, get mad drunk!!!!!! I tend to drink from bottles.. but if there is a tap... you bet I'm drinking that!! They had some mean beer on tap over in Pearson International!! ...btw... I had Labatt Blue and Heineken and Coors *inserts standard speech about american microbreweries* You just need to try some other stuff, dude. Stay away from the big name brands, and go for the small microbrewery stuff, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how good american beer can be. Snowdog
I tried Young's Double Chocolate Stout last night. It was pretty good, not great, but enjoyable. Anyone else ever drink this stuff? What are your thoughts?
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
QUOTE (Snowdog @ Jul 31 2005, 03:32 PM) I tried Young's Double Chocolate Stout last night. It was pretty good, not great, but enjoyable. Anyone else ever drink this stuff? What are your thoughts? I enjoy it very much, but it's obviously not an everyday beer. It's more of an after dinner, relax and sip "dessert" beer. And if you're really in the mood for a dessert drink, mix the Chocolate Stout with some Lindemans Framboise Raspberry Lambic. Out of this world. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/1001001/Beer/73.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/1001001/Beer/599.jpg

Snowdog
For dinner last night, we had lasagna. After dinner, for dessert, I drank a Young's Double Chocolate Stout. It was a magnificent capper to the meal! I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the tip, 73. It is a good "dessert" beer.

Indica
I think all beverages are better in a bottle. I even think soda tastes a lot better in a glass bottle than in a can or plastic bottles. Sometimes I even but the little 7oz bottles (soda) even though they cost a lot more, just because I think the taste is way better.
