What that list really brings into stark relief for me is that during that same time frame, the Patriots have started Drew Bledsoe, Tom Brady, and, solely because of an injury, Matt Cassel.

There's nothing about the list of post Marino Dolphin QBs that brings any relief to me. :) (however wanly)

Be thankful, labt-I live less than 3 miles (as the crow flies) from Joe Robbie Stadium (no, I NEVER refer to that place as Pro Player or Sun Life or any other corporate horsesh*t name.

Only 4 receivers and 11 defensive backs?

Three quarterbacks?

Didn't you say you didn't like Egnew?

Roster composition subject to change.

As far as Egnew is concerned, he probably owes his continued career to DJ Swearingen.

I wonder if Egnew is a member of the tight end mafia and had Aaron Hernandez arrange a hit on Keller for "stepping out of line"? :eh:

The NFL's version of a rummage sale, which occurs the day after team's produce their initially 53-man roster, came and went on Sunday with hundreds of players being claimed, waived, and signed to the practice squads.

The Miami Dolphins weren't extremely active, but General Manager Jeff Ireland did swap out fullback Evan Rodriguez for Tyler Clutts, a 28-year-old fullback the Dolphins claimed off the waiver wire.

Clutts, who was cut by the Texans on Saturday, is a core special-teamer Houston waived on Saturday. He started eight games for the Bears in 2011, and spent all season with the Texans last year, playing in every game, but didn't contribute statistically as an offensive player.

The Dolphins also signed two receivers to the practice squad, coming to terms on contracts with Marvin McNutt and Brian Tyms, adding the two second-year receivers that struggled with their consistency during training camp to the team's eight-player developmental unit.

One player the Dolphins hoped to put on that unit was A.J. Francis, but the undrafted rookie defensive tackle Miami waived on Saturday was claimed by New England. So was offensive guard Chris Barker, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound undrafted rookie from Nevada. Both former Dolphins were added to Patriots' 53-man roster.

Can you win in the league with absolutely no running game and a non-elite QB? I have a feeling we're about to find out... :(

Yeah, just give them about 25 yards on a rekick because you lined up 6 on the LOS. F***.

We're also on pace for about 140 sacks allowed on the year. Great O Line we've got.

The Phins are nicely poised for a second half avalanche of points!

Why? We f***ing suck.

If I was going to the first home game, every time Brandon Fields stepped on the field, I'd be chanting M-V-P.

At least our #3 pick of the draft is out there on kickoff return team.

My guess for the final score is 21-6.

I can't believe we actually got 7 yds rushing in the first half.

I don't know if I can watch this sh!t for another year.

Maybe we'll pick up Vince Young next week to complete the dreaminess.

Hey, we got six yards on one play on the ground.

And only got two players called for holding.

We f***ing suck.

At least our $60 million WR got a target.

Not that bad. I still think it's a downgrade but not a total disaster like having ones like the new Jags helmets.

And we have a better team than the Jags. I think.

See, the Dolphins came good at the end of the day, and the mighty Browns were tamed!

 Mighty sh*tty that is... Deja Vu "Same as it always was" Weeden blows ,STILL no Quarter Back since 1999.. Offensive line magnificently bad, No fullback, dropped passes by receivers (when they got there) The defense was ok along with tight end Jordan Cameron played well the only positive I can spin on another opening day debacle. And a tip of the hat to fellow GlenOak high school alumni Brian Hartline for the phins he looked razor sharp.
