Mustard Death
I own...: Ten Superunknown Reign in Blood (I can't believe this made the list...) Pinkerton Nevermind (Once again, why is this here??) And OK Computer I agree with some of the bands they chose, but they chose the wrong albums. And OK Computer is nowhere near the best.
D-13
Elastica they are cool but don't derserve to be on the list, yeah yeah yeahs are f*cking awesome but again should not be on the list... At the Drive In shouldn't be on there either even tho this is close to one of my fav bands (guitarist and singer is from the Mars Volta, too bad ATDI broke up ), WTF is with Modest Mouse's album? The The Lonesome Crowded West? No songs on there are like known...I don't even know any songs off that one and I listen to alot of Modest Mouse. Metallica- Master of Puppets should be higher, Radiohead Kid A should be higher, Guided by voices...yea I like them alot but they shouldn't even be on this list! Pixies I like but this should be near the end...Dinosaur Jr. Is ok too but that too should be in the end, Fugazi?!? You have got to be kidding me? Fugazi has got to be the most old school band here and same with De La Soul...they are both really good but again should be at the end or off this list. Liz Phair- Exile in Guyville..I saw that cd in the Used CD store today...shouldn't be on the list at all even tho shes good...Nirvana is actaully good where it stands...man...this list is bad...sure I love most of the bands on here...but theres alot more bands that deserve to be on this list!! What are they thinking!!?!

PuppetKing2112
People, this isn't really as bad as Rolling Stone's top 500 a few years back. OK on this list I own the following, with a * next to the ones I think deserve to be on this list: OK Computer (OVERRATED) Nevermind* The Queen is Dead* Paul's Boutique* Odelay* (Sea Change is my favorite Beck album but all his stuff is good) Appetite for Destruction* The Downward Spiral* But The Fragile should be on here too. Siamese Dream* Dookie* but where's American Idiot? In Utero* Licensed to Ill* White Blood Cells (Both Elephant and Get Behind me Satan are superior) Pinkerton (I've always liked the blue album more)
Mustard Death
This is pretty much just a list of the most popular albums from some of the most popular bands of the last 25 years. I do agree with it being better than Rolling Stone's list though.
Moonraker
There are a number of good albums on there, also a lot of really bad ones. A lot of really memorable albums were skipped over as well.

Oberon
QUOTE (furie @ Jun 22 2005, 10:24 AM) QUOTE 2. Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation... WTF? Great album and one that actually deserves to be on the list, but not that high. I'm glad to see at least Nevermind didn't do #1, but OK Computer doesn't really belong at #1 either. Where are "The Bends", Sonic Youth's "Washing Machine", Peter Gabriel's "So" and "Up"? No Rush but that's not a surprise.
Pratt Boy
QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 20 2005, 09:15 PM) The only ones I own are #74 and #22... I only own #93 & #18. I guess I'm not hip enough, or I'm getting too old.
