Hatchetaxe&saw
Teddy Thompson - Separate Ways - magnificent, Dad must be proud Mark Lanegan & Isobel Campbell - Ballad Of The Broken Seas - Mr. Lanegan always impresses David Gilmour - On An Island - OK Elbow - Cast of Thousands - Better than the debut, as good as Leaders of The Free World Bowie - Ziggy & Heroes - finally replacing the cassettes. God, Ziggy is such a perfect album. I'd forgotten all about it.

madra sneachta
In an act of sheer originality that no-one else on TRF would think of doing in a million years, I've just gone out and bought an album by some guitarist called David Gilmour. The album is called "On An Island". It's very good.

This IM release is quite good, but I prefer Death on the Road. My latest purchase, though, is Fates Warning-Live in Athens DVD. Great stuff! Recommend! PuppetKing2112
FYE is one of the best used stores I have ever been to, but it is also one of the worst new stores ever. I was at the mall today for something else and so I popped in there quickly...under David Bowie they had the two disc Ziggy Stardust 30th anniversary edition for $79. Yes, you read that right. 79 bucks. Then they had David Live, 2005 two-disc reissue, perfectly mint condition, used for $9.99. I bought one of them. 50 points to whoever can guess which one.
