You've got Nolan the director, Christian Bale as Batman, Michael Caine as Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Gordon, Tom Wilkinson as Carmine Falcone, Tom Hardy as Bane, Colin McFarlane as the commissioner and a couple of Irish guys as bad guys Liam Neeson and Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow, Ra's al Ghul), even the Joker was an Aussie...

Not many American stars in this trilogy...

Hey, Nolan is a dual citizen and does it really matter? Personally, I couldn't care less.

Just wondering. After all Batman is an American icon...

Isn't the newest Superman a Brit, too?

Christian Bale is American, though.

He does a great American accent, doesn't he? He plays Amercians so often you'd think so. wink.gif Same with Oldman. I'll see an interview with one of them and the English accent takes me off guard for a minute.

Name some yanks that could've done a better job of pulling off: Bats/Wayne, Alfred, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, or Joker. There must be some but I can't really think of any at the moment.

Oh, any mention of Brad Pitt or Keanu Reaves will get an immediate 10 kicks to the genitals.

Aaron Eckhart, born in the USA. But, he's just a token American.

It all started with The Beatles, really.

I'm guessing that's your first clue.

I doubt Nolan gets the say so over every casting move...

We're not as uptight about such things as the Brits would be if it was nearly an all-American cast and crew making a film about a British icon, I can almost surely say that.

And you know everything there is to know about all things British, including being British because you are Presto-Digitation master of the universe! wink.gif laugh.gif
