The album is the heavy metal equivalent of getting punched in the face for 50 mins straight. Every time i've listened to this album my reaction is the same when it's done, I always think to myself "damn what the f**k did I just hear?" However, if you stay for Anthrax you should know that there are a few songs in their set where the whole floor becomes a huge circle pit. treeduck Posted September 13, 2012 Author Share Posted September 13, 2012 Ok after a good few listens I'm ready to speak out! I would say this is a little better than their previous one. The compositions are a little more complex, there's a little more variety too. The guitar solos are generally a little more impressive as well and the production of the guitars is much sharper. I really like the drums on this album too, courtesy of Gene Hoglan. The cover bonus songs are all nicely done and sound good. They really have been Testamentised too! They work very well and actually add something to the album, unlike with most albums that tack on a few cover songs. All in all an excellent slab of metal!
