Enemy Within
Middletown Dreams
Open Sectrets
Chemistry

Those are my semi-realistic wishes. I would love to hear the rest of Signals as well.

First time i have seen "Open Secrets", and i agree. I was listening to it this summer and said : "Wow, this is a great song!" A unknown gem... wink.gif

You know, I can't beleive this was never played live. It's one of my favorites from Hold your Fire. Which was a great tour, but somehow this gem didn't make the setlist! It would really be nice if they drag this one out of the archives for the next tour!

My Top five in order for the next tour are:

Jacobs Ladder

Cut to the Chase

Middletown Dreams

Open Secrets

Show Don't Tell

show don't tell no.gif schla03.gif

And it's been done. I'd rather hear Scars or Battle Scars from Presto.

Well the reason have "Show Don't Tell" up there is because it has never appeared live on a DVD and lets face it, it's one of RUSH's better songs!

I agree with a great many of the suggestions here. I find it interesting to note that "Available Light" seems to be on a lot of lists. In fact it may be the most requested song (just based on a quick look at the posts).

Rather than listing my ideas I will just say "Yes' to most of what has already been posted and add one suggestion not already made (unless I missed it).

That song is:

Everyday Glory

I agree! I felt Available Light was one of the best songs on Presto, Why they never played it live escapes me? I think it would be a great addition to any set list and one of the main reasons it's on everyones wish list.

I'll add to mine:

Jacobs Ladder

Cut to the Chase

Show Don't Tell

Open Secrets

Middletown Dreams

Available Light

If I had to go for some "hidden gems" (and I have actually given this a lot of thought, because I've seen them 3 times - 2004, 2007 and 2011 - and each time they gave us at least 2/3 hidden gems from the vaults) here they are, in chronological order:

Jacob's Ladder from Permanent Waves

Chemistry from Signals

Afterimage from Grace Under Pressure

Manhattan Project from Power Windows

Open Secrets or Lock and Key from Hold Your Fire

...other than that, I'd love them to bring back Show Don't Tell from Presto and Driven from Test For Echo.

All really good choices! I guess everyone is ready for a more diverse set list!

Agreed!!! I would be happy if Everyday Glory was the only "Deep Cut" they played. I love that song.

Kid Gloves and Double Agent are my 2 favorite underrated Rush songs ever, but Double Agent didn't really work well during the Counterparts tour so I doubt they'll break that one out again.

Kid Gloves would be great and it's definitely a song Geddy can handle vocally

I actually thought double agent was one of the better songs played on CP Tour. Much better than Nobodys hero IMO!

I was still bumed they never played Cut to the Chase! My Favorite off CP!
