invisible airwave
This is why I rarely go to theatres that much now. I only pay $5 for movies that are worth paying $5 for. If I just want a "thrill ride", I'll use Redbox thank you very much.

Cowtothesky
Captain Crunch was a character in the movie, 'Pirates of Silicon Valley'. Â http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0092328/ Â

Silas Lang
Yea I think he nailed it. Seems like it's been that way for awhile now...
JohnnyBlaze
Is he bitching? He had 4 of his works (that I know of) made into films. As far as Depp Crunch goes...I can see that along with Danny Elfman providing the quirky, bouncy "boom boom boom boom" music and also Timmy Burton doing his all-too predictable & boring thang of darkness and mood with Captain C. It wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Stormtron
A Captain Crunch movie would be sweet. Epic battles at sea with the Soggies and Squish the Sogmaster. Then comes the sequel Oops! All Berries.
Stormtron
I can picture the teaser trailer too. It's a shot of a wall... "Coming this Summer...you'll stay crunchy.....even in milk." Then that asshole busts through the wall on his ship. Crunch Time Begins 7-3-15 GetCrunched.com #GetCrunched Edited February 16, 2012 by Storm Shadow
danielmclark
QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Feb 16 2012, 07:02 AM) Is he bitching? He had 4 of his works (that I know of) made into films. In all fairness though, he didn't ask for them to be made movies and in most cases that I'm aware of, actually bitched about them being made in the first place. He's pretty consistent; I gotta give him credit for that.

He was saying that they drew up a contract that allows them to get lawyers to sign documents that he refuses to sign in order to push things through... Here's the full interview: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=36996
