There are so many, but my top ones are

Red Lenses
Different Strings

And those 2 have never been played live!

Others are:

Red Lenses
Virtuality
Territories
Show Don't Tell
Force 10
Bacchus Plateau
Fly By Night
Hemispheres Prelude
Ghost of a Chance
Double Agent
Half the World
Totem

Red Lenses was played on the Grace Under Pressure Tour. The drum solo went in the middle. During the Power Windows tour they shortened it to just the drum solo with the second half of the song.

I don't think songs like Red Lenses or Countdown will ever show up again, but they have been trying a never-played-live-song for the past couple of tours so I hope they play Different Strings with a long killer solo at the end. That would be worth the price of the ticket.

TheAccountant also mentioned Everyday Glory. Imaging that song done acoustically after the drum solo.

I had not thought of Everyday Glory done that way!! Great idea!!

I tend to be a logical person who likes his songs played live mostly like they are on the album (a little jamming and stretching the song out is fine - but don't surprise me to much and definitely no medley's that blend multiple songs together) so your idea never occurred to me. My initial reaction was "what?". Then I started thinking that it would be like Resist which I loved when they did an acoustic version of it after the drum solo.

Awesome idea!! I definitely like it. biggrin.gif

Good, now go tell the band and let us all know when you have convinced them to do it.  smile.gif

I would offer to take care of it, but Neil hates Chri...  bolt.gif

I've got Neil on speed dial! He gave me his phone number after I ran up to him while I was stalking his entire trip during Roadshow

The songs they should play this tour and we're likely to get:

Jacobs Ladder, Kid Gloves, Analog Kid, Hemispheres Prelude.

the songs they should play but we wont likely get:

Full Xanadu, In the End, Anything from Caress.

As for Middletown, I think theres a shot.

The latest rumors are for a Fall tour. I wonder if anyone connected to the band views these forums. If so I would like to say Jacob's Ladder about a hundred times to get someone's attention, but I have to get going.

Here Again! The whole bluesy guitar solo is just awesome 653.gif

Heard that on the radio Sunday - it had been years since hearing it at all, as I don't have the first album on CD and the cassette is long trashed.

I forgot just how good of a song that is.

I would love to hear The Analog Kid again. It's been a while since they played it live and as I recall it sounded great!

I wouldn't expect to hear Middletown Dreams again but you never know. On each tour there are always one or two songs that have me thinking "why the hell did they choose this song?! Snore!"
