A De Niro triple bill, I need to catch up on latter day De Niro flicks.

This was tedious, I was praying for the end. What the hell was De Niro doing in a film like this? A total waste. And I had to put with Sarah Jessica Parker and Bon Jovi meets Glee!

This was ok, but there was no real chemistry between Hawke and Paltrow.

This was good but the ending seemed truncated. I expected another final act, the story seemed unfinished, it was like the end of a TV episode that continues next week. Still all the rest of the film was enjoyable so it's only a small complaint..

The Score was mediocre but Marlon's scene stealing performance is a nice swan song to his legendary and iconic resume.

Pretty weak sequel. I watched this mainly because Bruce Campbell and David Carradine were in it, but unfortunately they just did brief cameos.

Wasn't that impressed with The Golden Compass, have yet to see Hugo.

Liked Alice though... What about you?

The Golden Compass was kind of a set-up for a couple of sequels that never got made. It was supposed to be a series of films, but the story-line was unpopular with the catholic church and the ensuing backlash nixed the sequels for good. I thought it had some interesting ideas but the story seems unbalanced and never really gets going and leaves too many issues that were introduced at the beginning of the film untouched.

Alice was pretty good, Hugo was the best of these films though.

AIW 2010 is the worst adaptation of the millenium...ever. Don't understand how anyone other than Twilight watching teenyboppers can prefer that over the original. I cringe everytime I see someone at my college carrying an AIW purse or something like that. Don't get me started on that Futterwacken dance, either.

Hugo's great, though. One of the rare times I saw a movie in 3D.

Oh yeah 2010 Alice is not patch on any of the other versions and distorts the original story but I went into it knowing that and was ok with it. It wasn't bad as a Tim Burton film.

Crispin Glover was a bright spot, I'll give it that much. He stole that movie.

i wasn't sure it was him at first, I thought it was but I wasn't sure until the end credits.

What's with this new trend of not showing any credits till the end of the film these days? Kind of annoys me when I don't know who is in a film before i watch it.

The last Batman movie whatever it was called.

It was OK but I expected a little more Batman in a Batman movie and I wasn't a fan of Bane...he sounded like Yukon Cornelius or someone from one of those old Rankin Bass holiday specials talking into a tin can.

It was kinda rediculous too...way more so than the other Batman movies.

Yeah, I agree. It was okay. My problem, however, was with the ending (and a few other minor things) and not so much Bane.

I like Sleepy Hollow but haven't seen Season Of The Witch yet. Is it any good?

It's ok, but a bit more of a crusader sword fighting film rather than a Witchfinder General film, which is what I was expecting. You've got the cheesiness of Nick Cage offset by the coolness of Ron Perlman, so that's ok. The setting is really cool, they filmed it in the Austrian alps...

Cheers! I think I'll give it a whirl sometime. :)

There are witches in it and it is supernatural in parts but much more swashbuckling than horror based

Any classic "Nic Cage losing his sh-t" moments in this movie?
