Show Don't Tell
"No One at the Bridge" has to be my favourite part of "The Fountain of Lamneth". I love how it has such an... isolated feel. I guess that's what was intended! After "Didacts and Narpets", Geddy and Alex's "Listen!" faintly echoes, and then the waves and guitar come in... Oh yeah. trenken
Never liked this album very much, but I do like a couple parts, and this would be one of them.
1 of the 7
This is the part of TFOL that sticks in my head the most. I love how even the vocals are wave-like...CALL out for diRECtion and there's NO ONE there to steer... Whenever my boyfriend and I come upon a bridge on a hiking trail, I always have to point out how there's no one at it

The_Necromancer_77
I listen to that part over and over again. It makes me cry. The lyrics are so touching, and the waves and music just go so perfectly together.
