That's basically it. I'll try and snap a pic.

I got it on Dec 26th. Got it home, washed it.

Put on a coat of:

and then followed that with a coat of:

Gotta get it ready for the salt in the winter

Nice - I am getting about 24 with this car, my Envoy was averaging 16.5 - so a nice upgrade there for me. smile.gif

I'm too much of a gear head to do that. This summer is going to hurt. banghead.gif

2003 Subaru Outback with about 104,000 miles, original almost-everything (just did the timing belt and water pump replacement and I'll probably be getting a new battery soon), runs just as smooth as she did 10 years ago. She's been in my family for her entire lifetime and we make sure to take amazing care of her. The variety and sheer amount of stuff that can be hauled in that thing is amazing, plus I can go almost anywhere without even having to check the weather beforehand. Reliability and versatility are the two greatest things about a Subaru wagon

It most certainly is as far from a DRIVER'S car as you can get...but despite the fact that it's underpowered, slow, handles like a swimming pool and gets the jitters over 70mph, there's still one thing that keeps it FUN to drive:

I'd take my outback even over an automatic WRX. People say the 5-speeds and 6-speeds are dying, but I've been noticing a bit of a revival among my generation, at least around my campus. Mine certainly isn't going anywhere any time soon.

1987 Toyota 4runner SR5. Classy. This thing pretty much fits all needs. 4 wheeler, convertible, commuter, truck, all-weather vehicle, people-hauler.

It's gonna be a lot of fun this summer.

I've got one of those, mine is a 2011 and it's red. I really like it and it held up pretty good when I hit Bambi's father a few weeks ago. It's all fixed up and good as new again.

Sure is better on gas than my Monte Carlo SS was.

Do you know if you can turn that "eco" light off?? I find it distracting..

Here is my history of cars (notice the black-red alternating pattern):

1992 Pontiac Grand Am

http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2884/781/7207890038_large.jpg

Then I gave this to my brother, and I got my dad's car:

1992 Oldsmobile Bravada

http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/1810/1221/29523110001_large.jpg

Then I got a real job and bought my own brand new car:

1997 Ford Explorer Sport

http://www.productioncars.com/send_file.php/ford_explorer_sport_2door_black_1997.jpg

The engine blew on this thing in 2005 and I got:

2005 GMC Envoy:

Now, my wife drives the Envoy, my son got her old car, and I got:

2008 Infiniti EX35 (not quite black, but close laugh.gif):

Just picked up my new truck today: a 2012 F-150 Lariat Supercrew with 5 liter Flex Fuel engine. The color is Red Candy exterior and adobe interior with leather seats. It's got a Sync system with GPS and a hookup for my iPod and even allows me to connect my phone to the system via Bluetooth and do hands-free calling. I could go on and on about the various features but I don't want to bore you. Just take a gander at the pic.

Some nice rides in here, love that Monte Carlos and that '85 Land Cruiser..

I have my locker room..

A 2000 Dodge 1500 Van. This thing has the 360 with a tow package, 2 CD players 12 speakers a TV and a game boy.

Gets 14 MPG at 75 to 80 MPH on the open road.

Holds 2 pair of skis and 4 ice chests, a dog and everything you need. Sits on a truck frame with truck tires and will go damn near anywhere.

That mud is not from the highways up there.. LOL

^ Several miles up some Idaho mountain road till I could go no more, had to back down and turn around, here it is pointed back out.... laugh.gif

Then there is my wagon.. 1970 Impala Kingswood.. Get 15 on the open road and will run well over 100 MPH, has the 350 backed by a 350 turbo trans.

What a fun day yesterday. My new Infiniti has keyless ignition, and we took our son out to Platteville for a university visit. Get home to a locked house with my keys inside, my wife brought a compact purse due to the tour and left her keys in the house also.

Keyless ignition screwed me yesterday. Going to the store to make a copy of my house key to leave with my parents smile.gif
