Quite possibly the worst Rush song ever.Terrible attempt at being jazzy which completely falls flat, complete with weak singing and a dumb sing-along chorus.Makes other songs look like 2112. Segue Myles Posted February 4, 2016 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Anagram and Hand Over Fist tend to leave me hanging, the former a bit more. I actually really like Superconductor, will never understand the hatred for it, though I don't really care one way or another about that. Everything else on the album is really unique and fills a specific, albeit unusually quirky, purpose, though The Pass has never really struck me as much better than the other songs on the album, despite poignant lyrics. The Pass is great, but I can list four songs I think are better: Show Don't TellChain LightningPrestoAvailable Light (this too me is Rush's most overlooked classic). Alongside Cold Fire and Everyday Glory as one of my very favourite post-synth songs. Top ten for me as well! Actually, Presto has more of my very favourite songs than any other Rush album! Day of Light Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 I don't hate Superconductor, as a song, either. Superconductor's tragedy is twofold: it was made by Rush, and it comes right after the wonderfully romantic Presto. So I voted for Anagram. What I dislike most about Presto is that the album is unskippable until the first second of Superconductor and then it jumps off a cliff, and then surprisingly enough climbs back up the same cliff with Available Light.
