Principled Man
Another year ruined for us Green Bay Packer fans. He's STILL holding us hostage, damnit. Another year of ESPN and FOX torturing Packer players with the same, redundant, regurgitated questions about #4. Another year of Aaron Rodgers being compared to him....and having to endure the same, redundant, regurgitated questions about him. Another year of general manager Ted Thompson being second-guessed and scrutinized every frickin week..... I'd sell my soul to Lucifer himself to see Rodgers and the Packers win the Super Bowl this year, if only to KICK #4 OUT of the NFL limelight and back to his riding lawn mower FOREVER..... Test4VitalSigns
Though I don't know how much truth is behind these rumors or whatever but I've been reading that the reason Brett has been wavering on coming back this time around is that he is really not a fan of Chilly as the coach. I wouldn't be surprised that is the case.

Syrinx
Brett Favre is following that classic path of hanging on too long. I may be wrong, but I have the feeling he will end his career on a real low point. A shame.

WCFIELDS
QUOTE (Syrinx @ Aug 20 2010, 08:19 AM) Brett Favre is following that classic path of hanging on too long. I may be wrong, but I have the feeling he will end his career on a real low point. A shame. Low point? I think if he stays healthy, he will tear it up this year. He may not win a Super Bowl.....but he can easily put up huge numbers like he did last year. IMO

Principled Man
It's almost over, NFL fans. He'll be gone soon. And when he leaves for good, there will be a final wave of pathetic worship of him by the sports media. We'll see his name and face on every TV, newspaper, and internet webpage. We'll cringe whenever we turn on the TV or the Net, because we know what awaits us. But then, it will be over. He'll be gone. We will then be happy again, for we'll be returning to our normal lives, watching our favorite NFL teams.....watching and reading stories about our favorite players, talking football X's and O's....... ...I can't wait!!
