I thought that game was OVER.  Wow.

Incredible comeback, but now Dirty Sanchez is pitching a one hitter.

Killing me.

I misread the box score and thought they had lost, but yeah what a rally.

And then they give it away 2nite in the 9th.

Poor Conrad, dang he stunk it up 2nite with 3 errors.

Really missin Chipper.

Hey, Earl... sorry about not winning tonight. We'll make up for it with two more wins to get the Giants out, just for you. smile.gif

Hey bud! I know! I am so depressed about that game yesterday!

The Braves had it in the bag and they let it get away!!

I knew that having Martin Prado out for the season was going to haunt the Braves. Surely for his bat, but not for his glove!! I had Prado all year on my Fantasy Team and he kicked ass for me until the end.

That Conrad guy should be benched!!!!!

I see the Giants are saving The Freak for Game Five.

That is going to worry me too Tim. Lowe is going tonight on not enough rest.

Timmy will fully rested and will be pitching back in SF.

Let's just hope the Braves can take care of business tonight so then we can talk about Game 5.

Those Phillies look tough though! They might win the whole thing!!!!!!!

Which bridge should I jump from?

A. The Golden Gate

B. The Bay Bridge

C. The Martinez Bridge

D. The San Mateo Bridge

E. The Dumbarton Bridge

F. All of the above.

If the Giants really do beat the Phillies and then I bet the Yankees in the World Series to win their first San Francisco Crown, I guess they really will have deserved it.

Personally I think the fukking Braves handed the Giants the NLDS title.

What a way for Cox to go out.

I knew that losing Martin Prado was going to kill the Braves in this series.

FUKK THE GIANTS!!

GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean FUKK THE PHILLIES!!

GO GIANTS!!!! wacko.gif

The gay bay brawlers have a snowballs chance.

Pitching, pitching, pitching.

Philly over my beloved Rangers; or the Jankees whatever.

I pray that you are correct!

Living out here in the Bay Area I hear all the breakdowns on the radio.

All of the Giants homers think that their pitching is the best out of the remaining four teams.

The Freak is solid but then again so is Halladay.

As for Cain he is very hot and cold just like "Dirty" Sanchez.

Their rookie Madison the "BUM" looks good too though.

I think the Rangers can get through New York by using Cliff Lee on short rest. He could pitch Game 1 4 and 7 right?

Wilson is another stud. I had him on my Fantasy League. 15 game winner.

It's taking way too long for these two series to begin.

If Halladay could no hit Cincy, what's he going to do against the mediocre at best lineup of the Giants?

A couple of well liked former Phillies on SF - Rowand and Burrell. Also - San Francisco's manager has a special place in Phillies history.

"The 1980 National League Championship Series between the Phillies and the Houston Astros is widely regarded as one of the most exciting postseason series in baseball history. Except for the first, all of the games were decided in extra innings. In the fourth game Houston held a two run lead until Philadelphia scored three runs in the eighth inning. Still, the Astros didn't go quietly. They evened the score in the bottom of the ninth on an RBI single by Terry Puhl. But the tenth was ruinous for Houston. Pete Rose reached base on a single and the Phillies' Greg Luzinski doubled home Rose on a close play at the plate. Rose, running through a sign to stop at third, arrived at home plate well behind the throw. Instead of sliding under the tag, without breaking stride, Rose lowered his left shoulder and flattened the Astros catcher -->Bruce Bochy<--, causing Bouchy to lose his grip on the ball and Rose scored the go-ahead run. The Astros went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the tenth, and the series was tied.[1] The lead changed four times in the fifth game before the Phillies scored in the top of the tenth inning following back to back doubles. Philadelphia's Dick Ruthven retired the Astros in order in the bottom of the tenth."
