If Counterparts was represented

I personally love the Counterparts album. Although doubtful, if

something off of this was played this tour what would you like to

hear?

I don't think I'd like to hear Animate again (although I do like it)

and wouldn't mind Nobody's Hero but I think I'd want to hear

either Cold Fire or Between Sun & Moon.

Cut to the Chase or Double Agent

Exactly.

Yep. Though my preference is for Cut To The Chase. It would be so awesome to hear that hard edge live, especially if they did the phasing with Geddy doing the, "cut. . .cut. . .cut to the chase. . ." part leading to the last refrain.

I would rather hear Counterparts from start to finish instead of Moving Pictures. But that's just me! cosmo.gif

It's certainly represented less live.

When you think of it, we're basically getting the same MP songs we got on the last tour...plus Camera Eye and Vital Signs. tongue.gif It's like Kiss playing "the other two" songs of Destroyer.

"Cut to the Chase", definitely.

yes.gif

This is a no-brainer.

I mean, I love CP so just about anything off of it is gold.

But, it is absolutely criminal that CUT TO THE CHASE has never been played live. Makes zero sense to me. wacko.gif

Yeah, that'd be my # 3 choice. Agree the more CP the better. My favorite two records, that one and MP. So bring it the @#!$ on..!

I remember being stunned that they DIDN'T play CTTC on the Counterparts tour. I could have sworn that it was written with the express intent of performing it live. It just demands it.

Sure, it's Rush sacriledge, but I'm with you! yes.gif

"Cut to the Chase", "Alien Shore", "Cold Fire", and "Everyday Glory" would all be awesome. If Geddy needs a vocal break, toss in "Leave That Thing Alone!" - it hasn't been played in a while.

To rate what songs from CP I'd like them to play, I'll have to put them in three categories:

would love to hear:

Cut to the Chase

Alien Shore

Leave That Thing Alone

Between Sun & Moon

wouldn't mind hearing:

Stick It Out

Double Agent

Cold Fire

leave out (on this tour):

Nobody's Hero

Speed Of Love

Everyday Glory

True that. I like Animate but I'd have to put it in the last category. For me there's not much distance between the last two categories, but there's a huge gap between "would love to hear" and "wouldn't mind hearing".
