RUSHHEAD666
Guys, I am watching this incredible movie called "MOON" on Blu-Ray. I mean MOON RAY: You must check it out! Some could rip it for being an Arthur C. Clarke/Stanley Kubrick Rip Off Flick but I think it's fantastic. Remember that other space movie called "SUNSHINE?" Incredible movie. It's "The Right Stuff." Ouch! Now that was bad. Signed, "It's time to party like it's SPACE 1999!"

JohnnyBlaze
Read about this before. Looks cool. Going to have to check this out. To me Sam Rockwell has the face of someone that would screw you over (Ray Liotta and Richard Gere are also in this same category of mine). Spacey as a robot voice you say? Makes sense to me. It's incredible Blaze! A total "Sleeper." Pun intended. I swear, Porcupine Tree could have done the soundtrack! Even Star Wars geeks will love this movie. Ultra
Saw this movie in the theatres last summer when I heard about the plot and that David Bowie's son directed it. This one was really good and worth checking out, Sam Rockwell did a great job considering he was the only real actor in the whole movie.
Godeater2112
QUOTE (Xanadoood @ Jan 15 2010, 07:37 AM) Earl, i didnt hear about this movie all year until now. Totally came out of nowhere. And now people are saying how amazing it is. Im going to check it out eventually. Really it is great because most people never heard of it or anything about it when they see it so it's a bit of a shock. Don't let us pump it up too much. It was a movie we saw out of the blue and a very pleasant surprise.
treeduck
It just turns out that he's a clone and his history and memories are made up, disappointing. I think they liked the idea of a Spacey does Hal film after hearing him in something else. Rockwell reminds me more of Bruce Dern in Silent Running... The blank space in the post above is a spoiler, highlight it if you want to read it. -Jack Aubrey Edited January 17, 2010 by Jack Aubrey

JDL2112
SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT I don't want the lashing Sirius is handing out!! SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT I'm not kidding, do NOT read down if you haven't seen the movie!!! I saw this last night, and I liked it enough, but about 3/4 of the way through, I started to get antsy because I kept thinking....Why can't these 2 guys figure out that Sam 1 is going to die here real soon? Why would Sam 2 even try to put him on that return ship? That was the only part that really made me think anything slightly negative about the movie. Did anyone else think that was odd?? Otherwise, I really enjoyed the acting and also the robot was very "Hal like"

However, I can see why people would think that...it had just about everything in it! Just my 3 cents worth there...
