One of the best comedies ever made!

Edit: this show was written by the same guys who write The Venture Brothers so if you're a fan of either you'll probably like the other.

Standout eps for me are 'The Terror'. 'The League of Heroes', and 'Destroyo'. Nestor Carbonell is fantastic as Bat-Manuel and Shirley Vassey is not only gorgeous but she also has great comic timing.

Remember, all of these shows were cancelled for one reason - they SUCKED.

VERY often it's just low ratings, not because a show isn't good or even great, it just didn't have time to find its audience. That would be like saying all movies that did poorly at the box office are bad movies.

Programs that don't generate ratings suck. It's that plain and simple.

If it doesn't suck, then it usually grabs the attention of the masses, thus making it a success.

You see?

You're joking right? unsure.gif

Not at all, I only deal in facts.

Yes, of course! Cuz we all know how awsome American Idol is. sarcasm.gif

Another show that was cancelled too soon was "Pensacola: Wings of Gold". I loved this show. It starred James Brolin and lasted only three seasons. The first season was the best. Brolin was in charge of four military specialists and trained them to become an elite team. Each member (including Kathryn Morris who would go on to star in Cold Case) had their own specialty and it made for a very good show. For whatever reason though, the second season did away with those storylines and abruptly became a show about Brolin training three marine fighter pilots. That carried on through the second and third seasons and it was still a very good show. The first season was better though.

I loved that show, reruns of it used to run on TNT at 6:00 am. Kenneth Johnson was also in it, he was then on The Sheild and then again with Kathryn Morris in Cold Case and I think he's still on Saving Grace.

I've looked for Pensacola on DVD but have never been able to find it.

I liked News Radio. I thought Phil Hartman was a great comedian. Unfortunately, we all know what happened sad.gif

and I like how Steven Root went from being the boss on the NR, to playing Milton in Office Space.
