He didn't even really want Venom in the third one so I don't think he'd go for an even shallower Venom clone. Then again, Topher Grace was Venom...nothing would surprise me. The first two were just so good it didn't really hold a candle... but come on, it was ok >_> And didn't Raimi say if he returned for SM4 he would make Connors the Lizard? GeddyLeeRoth Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 After SM2, I thought the logical thing for SM3 would have been for Parker to obtain the black costume, rely on it to take on both The Lizard (a McFarlainesque CGI version would have been awesome) and The Green Goblin (Harry) at the same time, then rid himself of the symbiote in the end to beat the two with his original blue and red. Then the fourth episode should have been the return of the symbiote as Venom (a well done one though), with a guy like the one who played Sandman, not the kid from That 70's Show!
