WCFIELDS
That's good that they realized they couldn't do it with a replacement........Even though Plant can't sing anymore, I would have rather seen him than a replacement for sure...... MULTIPLIED REACTION
Good, i am glad this is dead. It's bad enough hearing Paul Rodgers butcher Queen songs.

raygun47
I've got a boot of the show they did...and I thought it was cool. I had a friend come by, and we're both Zeppelin fans...it was fun to watch. It's shot nice for a hand-held. But, if Plant isn't coming with...it's no good. And if someone's heart isn't in it, they probably wouldn't be all that great to see anyway. I would've been there if they DID do it though. I expected they wouldn't. Pags
Coverdale/Page should record a second album. Now that would be something worthwhile.

Verena
It's difficult to make a Led Zeppelin reunion and it would be absolutely impossible without Robert Plant in vocals. They did the right thing.
rushdownunder
QUOTE (The Owl @ Jan 11 2009, 04:58 PM) Let sleeping dogs lie Exactly. Led Zeppelin officially ended on September 25th, 1980 - and barring the invention of some kind of miraculous machine that can raise the dead, they will never reunite. MCM
Too bad for Jason, I think that's why he left the gig with Foreigner. It's not why he said he left Foreigner, but the timing was too close. I'd still like to see Jimmy get out and do something.
