Jaye
QUOTE (PanaceaFish @ Feb 28 2009, 11:55 PM) Well, he's out of the hospital, and on Doctor's orders, is taking it easy for about a month... That means he's getting better, right? Can it be revealed what is/was wrong with him yet?

What exactly happened to him? I heard something about blockage of some sort, I've heard it was his leg.
Xanadu93
I'm renting Classic Artists: Yes on itunes to see how it is. I'll probably end up buying it anyways, but not there - I'd rather have it on dvd.

naturalsciences101
So happy to hear that Chris Squire is doing better at least. Being permitted to go home from the hospital is always a good thing. I wish him nothing but good health and good fortune in the future.

naturalsciences101
I'm thinking more along the lines of this little known, yet beautiful, Chris Squire piece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-PP5j0gXBI

The Owl
As far as solo stuff goes, everyone here needs to get this album. http://991.com/newGallery/Jon-Anderson-Live-From-La-La-L-405202.jpg Shortened and Acoustical versions of Yes Classics, and Jon Anderson solo material.. Very good. It also has a live version of "Buddha song" one of my faviorate Anderson Solo songs.

Mystic Slipperman
The YESSONGS version of Roundabout just came on the shuffle. I normally am sick of live Roundabouts, but I still like this one. By the way...I am with you folks on TORMATO. Some great songs there!! Mystic Slipperman
I remember a time when the only way you could get Tormato was in the used LP bins!!! For a time it was out of print....
circumstantial tree
I don't think the band is too keen on it. Jon Anderson stated that the album lacked a clear direction and that there was no standout track on it. Steve Howe thought the tone of the music was not all that good. Some of the tunes are good like Future Times and Madrigal. The rest are, well, "OK".

IMO the best versions of "Roundabout" are from the Tormato tour (the bonus version on Classic Yes, Cleveland '78), but any live version is great.
