It really has nothing to do with my Yankees love and them beating the RedSux. Actually. Thats the reason I am rooting the Rays Im from Philly and like the Yanks, can I buy some love from you for the Phillies? Sorry Lerxt I gotta stick with the AL
PhilCastro
An interesting fact: A Florida Baseball team has yet to lose a Series in the playoffs The Marlins have never lost a series and the Rays of course have yet to lose
Del_Duio
Blah, well I told myself if the Sox didn't make it to the WS I'd hope that Tampa would. Of course I didn't really think they'd be able to do it way back in late spring. It's tough because some family live near Philly and them being in the WS means a lot to those people. I think these will be exciting games in any event, should be fun.

MORE COWBELL !!! http://seoblog.intrapromote.com/more_cowbell.jpg Its important to realize when a joke has been overdone... Hey, if it disrupts the batter, we'll run that joke into the ground Rays tie it up 1-1 and off to Philly we go. This seems eerily similar to the ALCS. Sox won the first, Rays won the second... then travel and win two on the road. (hoping on that last part!)
Lerxster
Never thought i'd live to see the day when i'd hear my self say, "We need LESS cowbell!" Never though the Phils would sweep. Got that out of the way, now time to bring it home Hope Game 3 doesn't get rained out though.

-D-RocK-
K, so no Philly sweep, they're still gonna take the pennant though. The fans will riot and pillage, the Liberty Bell will be turned upside down and used as a giant beer stein........after they fix that big crack. EveryNerveAware
Don't count your World Title before it's hatched. The Rays have played hard-nosed battling baseball all season and Philly better watch themselves... or they'll end up like the Red Sox. I never thought I'd see the Rays win the first two games in Fenway, but they did it and by a wide margin to boot. Philly is going to be surprised at the fight they have on their hands... we'll see how it goes over the next few days. GO RAYS!!
rushgoddess
the Phillies already have the pennant-d-rock, if you mean they are gonna win the world series, I agree1
Ancient Ways
So tired. I haven't slept much in two weeks and this is typically a very intense period at work. I love the series but I'll be glad when it's over so I can get some sleep. This has the appearance of being very similar to the Rays/Sox series. I like Garza to win game three tomorrow night. His stuff is better than Kaz or Shields imo. In fact I'm worried that Kaz is hurt or past his peak. He has not looked good in the post season. Anthemic
The Rays need to not start Kazmir again. He came from the Mets, therefore the Phillies will beat the crap out of him every time! It's the philly thing to do you see. Go Rays!
