Mara
besides me. . .I don't know why, but I can't stand it. It's inexplicable, really, except for the fact that so many of the characters have eye sockets the size of manhole covers. That, and I think it's scary that some people actually lust after cartoons.
fledgehog
me! anime fans are all weirdos in my experience. the worst is hentai. why anyone would want to look at naked cartoon characters with sexual organs the size of a freight train and eyes the size of basketballs is beyond me
Xanadu93
Technically, when I was younger, I watched and played Yu-Gi-Oh, but that wasn't hardcore anime. Some of this stuff is wrong. And I swear to God, if I see one more person doing that damn Naruto hand shit Im going to kick his ass!

I don't even know what half of this shit is, and it's just scary as hell. I mean, are there people who really get off on cartoon soap operas and cartoon porn? Yikes. TwoOneOneTwo
I'm a freakin' Japanophile, and I have trouble with anime. And yes, hentai is just so...wrong..., IMHO.
Garden Dancer
So much of it confuses me, but I gotta say, some of it is quite beautiful. I like the "Magical Girls"... Normal teens until a crisis or a monster threatens again, and Poof! The girls have all kinds of magic powers to defeat the baddies! *giggle!* H is just sick, though. I had a friend who loved watching that stuff, and he showed me a tape... I walked out after just a few seconds. I much prefer the Manga. I like the artwork in the comic books. Lots of sweeping strokes and elegance in the girl comics...

Jaye
I have some manga books myself, my favourite series being Gravitation. (I'm a Gravitation freak ) But I think the only anime I've actually seen is Pokemon. Sis and I used to be obsessed with it as kids.

Mara
My ex-boyfriend's son was really into Pokemon at the height of the craze. It made gift-giving really easy. I wanted to drop-kick Pikachu, though.

GhostGirl
My son is immersed in a Pokemon marathon as we speak. I have given up trying to understand what makes it so fascinating. He and his friends spend hours "battling" and trading cards...it's like they're speaking another language. "My flibbertygibbet just evolved into a supermango flowerpuffet!" "No, man! Wicked!" "Will you trade me one of your slipperywickets for a rabbityskunk?" Plus there's this one guy on there who has no eyes, just slits. What's up with that?

Did Lee Squat?
I used to love Pokemon and Dragonball Z and Yugi-whatever and shows like that, but I guess I grew out of them.....they don't appeal to me at all anymore. Those are Animes, but they're a lot more childish than other ones.. Such as Bleach, or Death Note, or Full Metal Alchemist. I personally hate the first bunch I listed, but love the second bunch.
