I have this Chad Smith drum instruction DVD, where he jams a lot with Flea, and damn these guys are tight! Chad's bass drum really follows Flea's bass riffs constantly. To my ears it's at least number four, behind Kid A, The Bends and In Rainbows. And it may be tied with Amnesiac, at that.
